In some of the marketplace listings, I have seen that the seller mentions that price can be changed in future. This is mainly in case of email account sellers. Does this allow them to change price without re-review from a mod ?

There are restrictions on the price changes and a Mod looks things over before allowing the changes.

I dont mind if prices go up. Thats normal. New prices should be mentioned in the openingspost - not on page 237.

I might be mistaken, but I believe that there is a certain percent price increase threshold that requires a mod re-review. I'm not aware of any triggers in place that cause this to happen, though.

I had to go through that, it's + - 30%

Even if the the increase is below that 30 %, one has to get the changes done in OP by contacting admin.

prices updates is logical for different valid reasons , one of it is currency inflation , if service sale thread opened in 2012 and sell for $10 , now in 2018 the $10 isn't same value (purchasing power) as in 2012 ! preventing prices updates isn't fair for sellers ... BHW staff knows that this is why it's allowed and of course updates are under mod review .

I can think of 2 good reasons why some sellers refuse to do that:
1. Editing the OP costs money, posting in the thread about the price increase isn't.
2. Lower prices attract more customers, some of those will buy even when they later find out about the increased prices.

True. As per year changes it will effect on price too as depend on currency, expenses cost etc. but can be done after reviewing by MOD or there will be one rule that yearly when seller renew there services can change the price that time rather than in year between. So it's valid for both of them seller and MOD.

A mere 30.00 USD.

Literally ANY edit you want to do on your BST Thread HAS to go through mod approval (and a fee of $30).

If a thread lists X price and then on the order page it's Y price - that's false advertising and is actually hurting the seller.
IMHO it shouldn't be allowed, although I have no idea what the rules are on that.

No, it's not allowed. Sellers are required to update their threads whenever they make changes to their pricing, TOS, etc.

Please report that when you see it.

Does that also apply if sellers are doing a promotional discount? I guess Black Friday is the most obvious one, but I imagine some sellers will be doing discounts during the upcoming World Cup.

Selling at a price less than listed should not be a problem in my opinion.
