GSA is what I use and have for a long time now.

If you click my link sig and scroll down there is a video on how to make very good (high PR, great authority) backlinks using GSA SER. Buying GSA and pressing go will make you trash most of the time - so if you don't want to use a tool properly, but a service. If you use a tool - use it properly and those that requires a bit more work and time than pressing "go". GSA and others allow you to do that, but that is not the way to use them.

Watched the video, nice and easy to follow. Is that you in the video Scritty? Do you have anymore GSA tutorials?

RankerX for me.
Most, if any, tools won't get you a good tier1 links, but can make a good job for tier 2.
For tier1 I use them to create accounts, and then fine-tune them manually.
For tier 2 GSA can do a great job for blasting, and you can also use Scrapebox for comment blast.
Senuke is overpriced and will only create forum and web2 profiles.
moneyrobot is useless in long run.

+1 for GSA as well. But GSA alone is not effective and it will take a long time to discover HQ sites with high PR. You will need a site list as well, and that should speed things up for you.
A good site list provider would screen through their site list and ensure that it has low OBL and a good amount of hq sites with good estimated high PR.
So with such a sitelist provider at hand, GSA definitely works much better and more efficiently and not to mention, your site would benefit from those links in the process.
