Need Help!! How to promote an android game?

Why not make a list of top game bloggers, then mail them asking for a sponsored blog post on their blog, try it and see how many installs you would get, if it works, replicate.

I am getting an app soon too, but not a gaming app, will also need ways to promote it fast and get installs

I will soon be hiring someone to build me 3 apps, but while I do that, I am building out a solid marketing plan.
You relying on having the play store page as your "landing page"? My plan centered around building a landing page on my website for each app, somewhere I can talk about my app, provide screenshots, talk about tricks within the app, provide value. This allowse to funnel more users from some longtail SEO, plus helps troubleshoot issues before people feel like uninstalling and such.
My other part is I have been building up relationships BEFORE my app(s) are even developed. Comments, direct conversations, all of it,so some top influencers will know me when I launch.
I also found some top newletters in my niche, and will be buying posts on them.
Plus much more. Even with little money you could do some of this, and a lot more.
You can check out my journey thread for more information on my plan.

I can help you promote it for free in my Fb groups and reddit If you like.

I don't be a cliché and ask your Skype. . Just sent me a PM with your message/app link and I will post it.

Hello, i have published my new game last week Guard of The Light. I got only 450 installs for it. It has been 7 days since i started using adwords but i have small budget. Can you please let me know what are the cheapest ways to promote an android game?
And also do you have any idea about buying installs? Some people say that you get banned if you buy installs. So even if i am willing to spend some money, is adwords only way to promote an app?
Really need your suggestions about this.

If you could install and let me know what your opinions are about Guard of The Light, i would be grateful!!

Answering your first question, the easiest and simplest way is to do advertising campaigns. In your social networks and others, or payment influences to make this load more fluid.

Answering your second question, if you are likely to be prohibited from buying installers, since your job is only to download it, leave a comment and it is practically what a Bot would do. So, if you want to do it since the game is just beginning, you can do it, but remember not to abuse. :)

First of all congrats on your new app, hope you succeed it. I've searched some blogs at the beginning but i think there are not too many active blogs, a few i found was only reviewing ios games. If you know some can you tell me? Because when i google it, comes out to long lists and after checking some of them couldn't find active ones.

Today I submitted my game to mobilestartupz and still waiting.:)

I searched for newsletters in my niche, first thing I did was subscribe(to those I wasn't already on). The ones that had "sponsored" content, I also subscribed a throw-away email, so I could collect all of them.
I also searched out newsletters not directly in my niche, but closely related.
Say I am targeting "business process improvement", I also searched for newsletters in "business", "small business", "business management", and many other related terms. When I saw they had sponsored posts I signed up my throw-away email and unsubscribed to the ones I wasn't personally invested in.
For a game, you might have a little smaller satellite feeds like I got, but you should have more general ones.

Yeah you are right, there are very few active gambe bloggers. I think bloggers give up on game blogging too fast. I was one of such bloggers that gave up my game blogging due to poor conversion and response.

Another way is to be active on YouTube game video reviews, drop nice comments and at the end, recommend your game to people. You will get installs from there too.

You can use Pay-per-install network and advertisements during the installation process get more instantiation which is some paid advertisement.

Promote on social media, look for vloggers on youtube who have your target audiences and partner with them to promote your app.

You are right, this is the next step that i'm gonna try. Thank you.
