What to do about Merch?

So merch by amazon now require a social number or tax number
but I don't live in the US,so I don't have a Social number.

So will a Tax Identification Number from my country work?

is there someone who is not from US that was approve
in this comunity? if so what information do I need?

I am selling on Amazon by using Merch by Amazon and I am not from the US. You don't need a social number. Yes, It will work.
Basically you don't need any information, because you can just let Amazon/USA handle the taxes and they take 30% of your earnings. However, if you don't want to pay 30% taxes you can get a social number in your country and enter it on Merch by Amazon. Keep in mind you have to deal with the taxes by yourself then also with the specific tax rate of your country.

I sell on amazon, including merch and am from the uk.

You can contact the usa tax authority and get an overseas tax number. But that is messy.

Or when you fill in the tax forms and indicate you are not from the usa you can input your countries tax identification number, if your from a country that has a tax treaty with the usa then tax withholding is set to 0% otherwise it is set to 30%.
