I worked on android development for about 3 years but lately i start feeling that i may gonna give up after the all of the revenues goes down but after reading your journey
Here is the point that I got:
- Setting a goal for 2500 apps and 250 accounts makes me feel that the problem was that I wasn't hungry enough.
- Your journey makes me feel that i'm too lazy so i need to wake up and work my ass off.
- Dont use only one ad network ( Admob ) use meditation for the highest revenue
- If one of your accounts got banned replace it with 10 and don't cry for the banned one just move on
- Initial installs could help the app to rank I needed this confirm Because i did some research and most of them tell that it will only hurt the app and wont work so you give me a sign to try it

Yes, initial installs can help but not agressive, one day 10, next day 20, next day 50, etc. act like real people

Most of people will prefer to install an app that has already 100k of installs, instead of 10 installs. It's psychology
However, since about one month, Google detects many many plateforms that is offering incentives installs (cpimobi, ayetstudio....), and doesn't add the install number in the installs number displayed in the playstore.
For example, I bought 10k of installs of a new app, but after 2 weeks, google is still displayed install : 10+
But in the dashboard, I still see the 10k of installs.

So yes, initial installs are important, but don't waste money on plateform offering installs (even if it's installs from real people), Google detects those plateform, and freeze the number displayed.

Yes, use famous plateform (facebook, admob, chartboost, applovin,....)

I would say that personnaly, i'm keeping using such cheap installs because it's, in fact, real people, et I'm tracking the "crashes" in the app.
It means if I drive 1k of people; and i see many crashes, i can analyse that.

Good Luck with your journey. I have never tried to upload these kind of apps. I believe in something stable source of income and thats why I'm working on something big but I would love to try something like you. If anyone have developer accounts then they can contact me. I will develop these kind of apps and you will do the rest.
