I have a personal development website, I would appreciate all feedback regarding design, content, and other ways to improve.

FYI — I have not yet implemented any subscription or pop ups yet to capture visitors,

Logo in the bottom needs color change to white (at least text if not the icon itself).

Improve loading site speed with plugin like WPRocket or Supercache. Also make sure you go to photoshop and lower resolution size of the images to the correct size and save as web (choose 60 quality for best speed and quality).

Hover color is same on the menu?

Since you went with a boxed layout. Why not make a "sidebar" background image to fill in that empty space (since all is white)?

I personally don't like the font and the size its in (it screams out) if you know what I mean but this is just a personal opinion that can be "thrown out" of suggestions.

For start maybe you have to consider to change the font. It s a bit difficult to read. Second check if a user can leave a comment with do follow backlink. If so you can check the useful comments and delete spam comments. With this method you will attract more visitors. Your links are No follow as far as i can see. Your internal linking must have useful external and internal linking do follow backlinks in order to create a strong On Page SEO strategy.

Very good, clean layout, interesting topics, easy navigation. Pop ups may spoil it, I don't use them because of blockers and they can slow down loading, also they are annoying. Build trust. If you want to get subscribers you'll need https, remember the new laws coming into effect soon

Thank you, they were once all do follow backlinks, however I read somewhere that this could negatively impact my SEO, which is then why I changed all external backlinks to no follow, do you suggest I do some nofollow and others do-follow? How can one know which to choose?

Thank you for your feedback, I have made some changes to the logo, I have done some page speed optimization recently and google gave me 90 for both mobile and desktop, however I did implement cloudflare as a cdn to further speed up the delivery, all images have been optimized and caching is in effect too, is there anything else I could do? was it very slow for you to load?

regarding the sidebar, what do you mean exactly? It sounds like a very interesting method

Looks nice to me. The smaller logo ( logo on top when you scroll to the bottom) needs some work. Try designing a separate variation of the logo for that. The contact form's design could have been better.
