I'm looking to go pure whitehat on my new brand website, I know it's going to be difficult, but I am wondering if you guys could recommend the best tools for getting in touch with authority writers/reviews.

I have never used buzzstream. I'm sure that is more targeted and may be easier to use for linkbuilding.

Linkedin has worked for me. I use my personal account and connect with bloggers/influencers. It may be harder if you're not email savvy and don't have a great profile. But try different things out. Linkedin Premium can actually be pretty expensive ($80/yr) and I might have opted for something else if I didn't also use it for general networking/recruiting.

Do you use Ninja Outreach? I've never used one of these, so don't know what to expect. I know a lot of the success is first going to depend on me having content that they would be interested in writing about. Lets assume I do, do you find that influences (say medium size specific niche blogs) are willing to work with new people?

Yea linkbuilding is what I'm after, I think I will use a combination of both.

The niche matters here to a degree. B2B you might be best off with LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Other have noted good options outside of buzzstream.com. Scale also matters as well. You might be good with a spreadsheet or using a simple tool like Boomerang and a spreadsheet.

I've actually never really used LinkedIn, if my goal is outreach for my brand (I have my own line of branded products), should I used my brand linkedin account or personal account?

Main advantage of LinkedIn is people can SEE YOUR FACE and they know you are real. That's why I use my personal account but I've never tried using one of my brand accounts.
