What kind of bot you want to make..like one which can open some website or just call some api? if you just want some curl calls then go for php-cli and if the websites are complex and you really want to open them in a borwser and interact with them programatically then selenium with chrome is good option. All free and open source of course

Relying on software to build a custome bot won’t get you anywhere IMHO. Either learn Python and build it yourself or hire someone else to do it
