My Amazon Affiliate Journey - thenwhat

I'm sorry but that's one of the stupidest things I've read all day. OP graduated high school six years ago - he's what, 23 or 24 now? I'm pretty sure he's not still a student also, AND he stated he has a daughter. In what world does one have "good chances" of becoming a millionaire before 25, especially when they're just starting to get serious about something? OP definitely has good chances of making a comfortable living with IM a year from now, when he has enough experience and knows exactly what he's doing (if he's not already there).

Where is it that you live where all the under 25 millionaires are? Because they sure as fuck aren't very common in the parts of the world I've visited.

I felt the burn all the way from Canada.

Good luck OP, looking good so far. One piece of advice - don't go overspending on unnecessary things like getting domains and hosting for the next 3 years. Why in the world would you do that? You could also go buy toilet paper in advance for the next 6 months or so but you don't see anyone doing so. Also, if you don't mind me asking - why would order something like custom CSS this early on? The site would go fine without it and without traffic it's a waste of money to focus on design THIS much.

Sorry didn't see this until now. I cancelled the project of custom CSS and decided to go with another theme.

No big update really:
  • I've just turned un-ticked the "Discourage search engines from crawling".
  • I currently have 5 articles posted on my site, a total of 14,000 words. 1 of these articles are 2000 words of filler content BUT I see it to have potential to bring in social media traffic. I also put a link to one of my money articles :p
  • I have 1 article I'm currently working on to publish (1 x 2000 words of filler content) - Hoping to link to this on reddit and forums. It's a very highly searched term but I see no competition on SERPs for this keyword. First searches only have an average of 500 words or less. Thing is, it's not a buying keyword - more informative than anything.
  • Waiting on 4 articles
  • After these 4 articles are published I'm going to be building/buying some high quality links. No PBNs...yet.
    - I'm going to sign up for forums, possibly start a subreddit, buy niche specific reddit accounts w/high karma, answer questions, etc.
  • I also found a solid/brandable domain for a PBN site on expireddomains. It was dropped in September last year, still indexed in SERPs, all the links that're currently built to it are still intact.
    - I've reached out to a service on here that provides monthly articles (1000 words x 5 + pictures + posted directly onto my site) to get some content rolling.
    - I need to create social profiles and a persona as it's going to be a "personal blog" theme
That's all I can think of for now. Also, I still need to get around to calculating my expenses.

Crazy good moves. Following the journey.
Good like my man :)

Update:
*Not going to be listing how much I spend on here.

I currently have 11 articles with a total of 41,000 words. 10/11 are money articles.

What I've been up to:
- I ordered a VIP brand package from @Leith
- I prepped 3 expired domains, found two on my own and bought one from @Nargil
- I ordered 30 articles, 1000 words each, received 15 articles so far and began posting on one of my PBN sites.
* Once I finish posting all of the articles I may look into finding a team to write/publish articles for me on a monthly basis. (The previous service I ordered for this didn't deliver)
* I'm debating whether or not I should purchase a PBN service to use as my T2 links to my own PBN (I want to use my own PBN as a buffer) - What are your thoughts?
- I found some forums from browsing through my competitors' backlinks and I need to start signing up and posting
*I'm thinking of paying one of my friends to sign up on forums and post since he has more knowledge about the niche than I do

I only have 6 keywords but none of them are my main keywords. These are all long tail keywords though, ranking 3rd to 4th page for these.

Can you share a semrush image too. Like mine. See the results are not so good so far. May be i should wait more. My expenses are $350 on links.

It won't let me attach my screenshot but it's not much different from yours, I only have 2 backlinks that pop up. I'd say focus on your content and building links.
In a few months you may or may not see growth, ranking takes some time.
