Hi Santos

What type of data does it scrape, is it just the contact url or does it go furter like name, email phone number maybe sociallinks?

Thanks

It doesn't collect data, it scrapes websites based on your keywords, then it will identify the contact page and submit your message via the contact form.

That's to bad, as i would like to customize the message to the company i email (name of their company, social media account) so that it doesn't look like blatant spam that i get tons of in my inbox.

Well, I should have been more clear. The software does have macros you can use that will pull in information from the website you're submitting to and embed it in the message. Macros like %domain% %url% %host% %keyword% %title% %subdomain% can currently be used. If you have ideas for more macros, feel free to share. Email can't be scraped due to issues with Spamhaus unfortunately, but there might be other things that can be added.

If you could add socialmedia links like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook that would be perfect for me

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but is there any difference between this capability and @loopline's scrapebox contact form submitter plugin? I like this idea, but just found out scrapebox has something similar to this and wasn't sure if getting this would be a duplication of softwares.

So let me dance around this issue delicately. :)

To start, to some degree here, that question is comparing apples to oranges. Lets start with I dont' work for Scrapebox, and the plugin nor software are mine. I also don't sell contact form lists.

so that out of the way, Scrapebox can submit to contact forms and comes trained out of the box for 2 forms, secure contact form (depreciated) and wp contact form 7.

GSA Website contact comes pre setup for more forms then that, I do not have a list. But your talking about Scrapebox at $67 that does like everything under the sun when it comes to SEO and GSA website contact that is $89 (or in that range) and its dedicated entirely to website contact forms.

so Sven has spent more specific time setting up gsa website contact to post to a wider range of forms.

Now, you can train scrapebox to post with all kinds of contact forms, and I have trained it on multiple forms. Thats fine.

If you wanted to train scrapebox to a degree could it compete with gsa website contact in the volume of contact forms it can send to, yes.

but out of the box, website contact is going to submit to more forms then scrapebox, because your paying for someone to have already done all that training when they built the software.

where as with scrapebox its a feature, it can do it, and it can submit to millions of forms out of the box, but its left somewhat open for users to train as they need. Website contact can also be trained to submit to more forms.

So thats pretty much the break down, is your paying for someone to have pretrained forms and of course there are some variance in features, but thats just less front and center.

So the big question is, how do you want to use it? If you want to submit to contact form 7, scrapebox already does that.

If you want to submit to some specific niche that all uses the same contact form, you can train scrapebox for that and maybe website contact doesn't even support that form and it would need to be trained.

If you want to submit to all sorts of contact forms in mass, website contact wins out of the box.

If you want to submit to contact forms to some degree and you want to do 47,000 other things, scrapebox wins.

Training scrapebox on forms is not hard, but its probably not a total beginner task as in, you just figured out what html is.

So here is my recommendation. Buy them both.

At the very least, if you use website contact to submit to forms, Scrapebox can scrape the targets and it has 47,000 other feature that are probably useful along the way. I do have both and I do use both, because I see them as complimentary not mutually exclusive.

Thats my 2 cents.

Then i am going to buy it this weekend and play with it :))

Sounds good!

Thanks for that break down. I agree and think that SB and Website Contact can definitely compliment each other nicely.

1.72 - new: ability to use new macros %twitter% and %facebook% which will try to fill the content

Is there a way to sort the sites with or without certain social links, because both need a different message, for instance i run a IG account creation and grow service for local business.

So my message would be different for people already owning a IG account than for people that don't have a IG account, is there anyway to sort that, I am using SB now for that sorting

Thanks

Never mind i posted it in the GSA forum, made more sense now i bought he software

Just a friendly note, these should be more tutorials on how the bot works. I know @loopline had a good jab at it but still...

;)

I don't "think" that there is a way to do this with website contact. I believe your going to have to do this outside of it, at least at this moment. I know the newest addon tries to fill in social data, but Im not sure that you could try and use that to qualify it and give it an if/else style message. maybe I just don't know, I don't work in that space specifically.

Personally if I were doing it I would use SB to qualify the leads before posting with website contact (if your posting with website contact, which I assume you are). Im uncertain if it would be better to qualify the targets and then post to them or if it would be better to find the contact pages first and then qualify the targets and then post to them. Just depends on various factors, but you could sort that out pretty quick probably.

Thanks loopline

I am not scraping, when i am done i will export the urls and (like you said) qualify them in SB social media checker, groep them and start posting with GSA

I see no other way to do it yet

Currently there isn't a way to sort via social links since this was something that was quickly added, but I think some better sorting options will come soon.

Will definitely work on new vid/documentation for the software soon to cover the newer features.

I am using SB for now to sort that out, i really like the software, its a breath of fresh air in comparison with the Paigham bot.

The best thing for me is that it really doesn't use a lot of resources, i installed it on a 4GB ram laptop i have 4 scraping projects running at 100/100 threads and the laptop doesn't even blink

What i also like to know what is the best format for local results

Right now i have queries like "powered by wordpress" fitness "new york" but that yield me a huge amount of unrelated websites and when i use the filter almost none of the sites go through, any tips on that?
