sla.guru

Please appraise this short domain name . Many thanks !

SLA = service level agreement

It's only as good as what you build on it. Definitely brandable, which is nice, but TLDs such as .com will always reign supreme if you're looking to sell a domain by itself. Might be able to get a few hundred bucks if you luck into finding a buyer looking for a very specific domain related to SLAs.

Actually its Premium Domain on Godaddy :D
To me it does not make any sense, especially if new (which it is not, as you said it is a premium domain in gd so it shud hav been registered atleast a yr back:p)
I wouldn't pay more than that for it lol coz i cant think of anything to do with it.
That boils down to the point, a domain is as good as you think it is :p

For me there is no sense even if it was 0.1$ , I just checked Godaddy with this domain and I shared what I got

"guru" term became pretty negative in the industry, I personally don't like the .guru domains.

I didn't realize they made you pay for .guru domains... (joking) IMO the domain is pretty much worthless, especially since you had to give the definition of sla since no one would have thought of that off the bat.

I have been using the GoDaddy tool for a few weeks now, I started using once I saw a total next to all the domains I own. I don't think there could be a more inflated tool to use on the internet than that one. Three of the "premium" domains I own are the .company extensions. The chicago.company domain I own appraises at $3000 and I own a few like this. Even Sedo and Estibot gave some of my premium domains a high dollar total buts its mostly bull. I now know, these kind of domains are not worth even $5 really. You might get lucky and find that right buyer at the right moment but its a small market, everyone would buy a .com.

I also own some very good .ca domains, being from Canada but I see now these are almost as bad. From here on out I will never buy a domain that is not .com. I would rather buy an expired .com and spend more to purchase it at the beginning than build an online business around a crappy domain. They only way i would buy another .ca, was if it was a brick and mortar business and that was their company name.

If I was going into crypto (like I am) I would use a .io domain but that is it. Long reply I know, but that GoDaddy tool really pisses me off :mad:

I definitely agree, but I would say no one is an instant expert to anything.Like me, I have a few rubbish domains as part of learning curve but as being very curious about it, I know now what kind of domain really has the "value" without asking appraisal tools. Cheers and good luck to us!

Haha! I'm a noob, that's why... good thing I learned early by asking and researching.
