I have been using the GoDaddy tool for a few weeks now, I started using once I saw a total next to all the domains I own. I don't think there could be a more inflated tool to use on the internet than that one. Three of the "premium" domains I own are the .company extensions. The chicago.company domain I own appraises at $3000 and I own a few like this. Even Sedo and Estibot gave some of my premium domains a high dollar total buts its mostly bull. I now know, these kind of domains are not worth even $5 really. You might get lucky and find that right buyer at the right moment but its a small market, everyone would buy a .com.
I also own some very good .ca domains, being from Canada but I see now these are almost as bad. From here on out I will never buy a domain that is not .com. I would rather buy an expired .com and spend more to purchase it at the beginning than build an online business around a crappy domain. They only way i would buy another .ca, was if it was a brick and mortar business and that was their company name.
If I was going into crypto (like I am) I would use a .io domain but that is it. Long reply I know, but that GoDaddy tool really pisses me off
