Advertising with Adwords Question

All these people saying its not ok to use affiliate links...
Lols I am direct linking to my affilite url and you just need to tell them what the link is in the description...

Direct linking + masking is allowed with AdWords. However, only if the product / website that you are promoting complies with AdWords policy. My problem is promoting an affiliate link on my landing page ... This is where it gets a little harder.

So my ad was just denied by Adwords. I have created a thin Wordpress site which reviews something. It has got a privacy / terms of service and contact page. Still it was instantly denied. I wonder how I am supposed to fix this. I assume I have to add more content to the website?

My landingpage with the affiliate links has got 1000 words. Guess this is still not enough ...

You cannot use the same domain on more than one account. How do you get over that?

Reason in the Adwords panel?
Got this message which has got more than one reason:

Abusing the ad network

Here is the link with the reasons. I believe it is the affiliate one:

Use redirects maybe?

What do you mean? I am using a landingpage.

I am thinking of recreating the landingpage now. Use a different method of promoting affiliate links!

Are you using your own domain?

I am using my own domain and I am linking to my landing page / website. I think Adwords just don't like advertising / seeing affiliate links on the landing page.

PM me the domain you submitted and I'll take a look. It's not likely to be an affiliate issue with this rejection.

Ok - the issue is likely to be that you are advertising the same end destination as other people (Google will check all links in your LP).

In general terms, this LP wouldn't convert well. You want something short and simple that people can click or submit their data.

The best way to market this with Adwords is to give something away. So you get people to fill in their email address for a free ebook and you attach your affiliate links in the ebook or you hit them afterwards with marketing emails.

Thanks ! I assume sending the affiliate link via email or sending the user to another landing page with affiliate links via email is the way to do this. Will change the landing page and see how that will work. Thanks mate.

Reverse engineer - use a VPN and check out what your competitors are using for landing pages in your vertical. Get inspiration from them as to your wording/font sizes/CTA etc.
