Hope there are some souls who share my sort of humour...
Yesterday a user here asked for Instagram bot recommendations, and I dug up a couple being launched recently for very little money. Anyway, I speak about it with a friend in the evening, and she tells me "Hey, I need exactly that right now", so I pull them up again and ask for affiliate permission.
Sure enough, today she buys the one for 8$ and I promise to help her set it up (for my 3$ commission) ;-)
The download comes and I can't believe my eyes: it's pure python scripts, beautifully programmed, but of course totally useless for the average buyer.
It comes with a "manual" that explains how to set it up by editing the config.py in Notepad ;-)
But if this wasn't funny enough, the author recommends to buy a Rasperry Pi and install the scripts on it so it can run unattended!
Anyway, thought I share that.
If there are freaks like me around who actually like looking at some Python source code (and therefore are able to easily tweek it as much as they want), PM me and I share the link. For the rest, save your 8$.
PS chances are little that you run into the software by accident, because the author is probably as bad a marketer as good as he is a programmer...
