Cant order Payoneer card. Requires 30$.

Hey!

I am looking to open up Stripe account so I could dropship worldwide, but since I am from Northern European country I have no option to do so. Therefore I am gonna use Payoneer + UK address to overcome this obstacle. However..

I am being asked to have 30$ received first before ordering the card.

Some people I know said they did not need to do this. So why me, and how could I deal with it? Or maybe I can just go and make Stripe account without ordering payoneer card? I guess my account is already "approved". Yet it would be nice to have card in my hands.

Any help / advice regarding payoneer and stripe would help a lot as I am new to this. Thank you a lot.

If you only want to use payoneer as a way to get your money, you can just add you bank account and withdraw your money from payoneer to your bank. so there is no need for a card in that situation. I know you can get the card for free if you register through a ad network or something.

I see, I connected my bank account and got "Your application to Payoneer is approved!" mail. So I imagine its all set up with payoneer and I can try going for stripe registration now?

By the way, whenever people gonna buy a product using Stripe, I will get money to payoneer, and from payoneer I will be able to withdraw to my bank account if I understand right? This way I would also get those 30$ needed to order the card later on.

Right. But easiest way to use payoneer is to spend using their card.

Thats the thing, I asked few people and they ordered card without having to receive any money beforehand. I wonder if I make 30$ soon using stripe / dropshipping, then I will be able to order the card right?

That was in the past. Payoneer changed their policy not long ago.

I use ATM for withdrawing and each withdrawal fee is $2.15 or thereabout. To transfer money from Payoneer to my local bank account, they charge 25%. who the fkk charge 25 per cent for transferring funds? It is outrageous.

I also use only atms.
Never knew payoneer charge 25% for bank transfer, if it is true for all banks and countries it is ridiculous

Payoneer is not shutting down. Payoneer tried expanding their service by creating a new platform called FirstChoicePay, which turned out to be a total disappointment and didn’t get the success they planned for it, and now they’re shutting it down while keeping their main platform.

I don't think there's a fee for spending, only for withdrawal. You can pay all your bills using it, no fees.

Of course you can pay with no fees. No one would ever use it if you had to pay fees for paying for stuff.

I dont think its 25% tho? Just googled and it seems it depends on bank but it says:

"If you were paid in USD, EUR or GBP and you want to withdraw your money to a bank account of the same currency, the withdrawal fees are fixed:

US – $1.50
EUR – €1.50
GBP – £1.50
