My Amazon Niche Journey

Hi,

I am app developer and have a decent knowledge of IM but from long time haven't really applied it to good extent. so frankly speaking I didn't really make full use of it. I have been on and off for long period but this time I want to make a serious IM journey. To make sure I stay that way, I bought some sites first so that there is money at stake and I need to be serious. I bought an Amazon Niche site and CPA site and couple others websites. But those are just to keep me glued to this journey and I this thread would be for the website I will be developing myself from scratch and try to put all the pieces together and make good use of it.

I bought grammarly to write the content as I didn't have any appropriate content writers yet. I would love to have one working with me so if you have any suggestions please help me with that. I did keyword research and found a good keyword so I formed some Long tail keywords around it. I can take care of WordPress setup myself so I don't think that's a problem for me. I will start working on SEO once I complete the website. Once I get couple of articles done, I will make the website live and start adding more content.

Expenses till now :

Grammarly : 140 $
Domain Name : 12 $

Already have hosting so not counting that.

Any suggestions are most welcome

I too wanted to avoid it initially but when I tried to find a content writer, they are charging somewhere from 25-40 $ for 1000 words (there are some at 7$ but didn't find good one yet). I took grammarly to check for plagiarism more than anything as I didn't find it very useful yet. That being said that money can be made out of grammarly atleast to give me some peace of mind with plagiarism checks and little things I might forget to check. Lets see how it goes but appreciate your input. From now, I would like to post my upcoming expenses so that I can get inputs before hand rather than after spending money. Will try to come up with couple of posts ASAP to make my website live.

Just mentioned app programming as what I do full time apart from this IM journey. Grammarly is an expense to my Amazon journey to help me write content for my Niche site. I am adding all the expenses for this journey in this thread so hope now those make sense.

What are your keywords stats like search volume and product cost? got expired domain or new ? Which country are you focusing ?

Keyword difficulty according to kwfinder is less than 20 with volume around 400-500/month . It is buyer intent keyword and I made a list of LSI keywords with less than 20 difficulty mostly and are around the same niche , volume is less but I think it can be good. New domain. Focusing only on U.S.

Quick Update :

I wasn't able to update this thread as I had a tight schedule. So, I decided to take couple of weeks to properly optimize content and website before making it live. Frankly, I am having back to back tight work schedule and a freelance project delivery dead line so couldn't write any article. I am working on the websites which I ordered. So, I have 3 completed websites delivered to me from BHW providers now (apart from this Amazon website ) .
1 Amazon website from @Chintoo (1 month old)
1 Adwords website from @keywordspot ( < 1 month)
1 CPA website from @ZlatanTheGod ( 1 week)

Yet to make money from any of those websites and I ordered 1 more Amazon site from Zlatan so my focus will be to do proper onpage and also work on the off page of the websites to get some rankings and traffic, which will give me some scope to work on this Amazon website while I keep ordering other websites . This Amazon website is purely to test everything I want to do and different ways to get rankings and sales which can be adopted to my other websites.

So, I might need off page for Amazon website and CPA website so please suggest me if using PBN is a good idea or not ? I am thinking to go with either @Lego or @Linkzo or both. Any other suggestions are welcome and any experience regarding those 2 vendors will be appreciated.

PBN is good. But before starting the PBN please do some quality backlinks... Like Design an infographic and pitch with a real website, Guest Post Outreach (Not PBN designed).

Just two quick things that caught my eyes when browsing through your thread.

That price sounds reasonable for a quality content writer.

So, I have 3 completed websites delivered to me from BHW providers now (apart from this Amazon website ) .

@Cray I understand what you are saying and agree with you that I am over doing things but I would like to keep my self busy, that is when I get the good out of me and most of the websites are mostly completed when delivered so not much to add onto those . I should work on the SEO part but now I am looking to outsource it so trying to find a long term solution for that as well. I know I already over spent but now I made some numbers in my mind as to stop spending until any money is made from any of my websites apart from SEO package.

Update :

I think I should start a new IM thread as this is for my Amazon website which is kept on hold for now. Anyways here is my update about my journey :

I ordered some new websites from the last update and mostly all those will be delivered in next 15 days or so. Ordered the below websites :

2 Amazon niche sites from @SeoPublicist
1 Spanish website from @SeoPublicist
1 Amazon niche website from the very special @ZlatanTheGod (love this guy's service)

So, now I have 8 websites. I need to focus on ranking as I fixed on page for all websites. Couple of websites are ranking well, 5-10 keywords in 20's and 30's for some good volume keywords. Especially CPA website is getting good rankings. So I decided to try a SEO service for my CPA website to give it the necessary boost to rank in page 1 (maybe in top 3)

I am looking to order service from @Peter Ngo today, any inputs would be appreciated about his service and/or any other too.

@outofmind I'll personally concentrate on performing with the sites you currently have without ordering more sites. Personally, I'll focus on the end product of my sites (and the ones you have) and focus on the SEO part of it monthly. Once you start getting traffic or earning money from the sites you already have, I'll invest in further sites. You could compare service providers as well by seeing which sites perform better, that'll be fun too for me too

Here is a strategy I recently did with a buddie of mine, I think it'll work with anyone here as well...
--> Did a site for him for a huge discount as well (obviously, imagine, a buddie!)
--> He didn't have an Amazon Associates account
--> He got accepted into Amazon instantly upon applying
--> He ran a promotion for $4 for 2 separate days at Facebook with his new page
--> He got a $27+ commission the 72hrs after getting approved in his Facebook promo

Worked! Can't imagine if he adds Instagram with his type of niche.

Personally, I think having more than 5 sites is a distraction, I'd keep it under 3 sites to manage your own personal sites if you're getting started my friend. I think your sites will end up being quite sexy for Facebook promotions as well

Goodluck. I to would advise to stick to one or two projects that you think have most chances to earn some money. After that you can easily invest that into growing your other sites. And you will know the mistakes and good things that you did. So it will be much easier!

Technically, I am trying to focus on my websites at hand right now (2 websites, 1 is still under progress and 1 is used to test review copies) and those are ranking well. Just bought an SEO package from peter so I hope it gives the necessary rankings push to top of first page. For other website, I am working and the rankings are quite well, mostly in 30's, for a website less than 3 months, I hope those are good rankings with what I am doing. I will try to ranking in first page in next couple of months for that website as well. In next 1 month, I will receive 4 new websites and will have time to work on the SEO. (2 sites come with SEO package, 1 website with rankings guarantee, 1 I need to work on). So, I think the plan is in place and I am working on it productively.

Sure, my friend. Appreciate your inputs, we can work on what to be done. Almost have the websites I own will be from you (3 of 8) so lets try to make the best of those. I will definitely welcome your suggestions on anything I can do to improve those.

There will be no buying of websites until I make a certain amount from the existing websites. I planned a maximum of 5 but the offer from SEOpublicist was irresistible so had to go with it as it came with SEO package too. Now, I will focus most of my time to improve the existing websites, rank better and bank on those
