Hello,
im the seller and im selling smm services a guy paid 20$ to buy followers and after he received them he paid another 130$ for followers and now he files a dispute against me saying that followers are not real

any tips to win this case? clearly if he did not like my service he shouldnt have bought the second time he just wants to get money back so he can buy again

should i escalate it to paypal or wait for him to do it? my paypal is bussiness account
thank you

I know a couple of sellers who have said it's hard to win these cases, PP will find in his favour most likely.

How long after buying first lot did he reorder?
His arguement is, if very quickly they appeared real at first so I ordered more, but after checking they are fake.

Nahh. Not gonna happen. Try to escalate, saying buyer is harassing me. Make some good points.
There's hell lot of fraudsters on Internet

PP is big on buyer protection and small on looking after buyers. Harassment and the logic of why did he buy again is your best bet. If you have a long period of time between purchases this might help. If it comes to it and they rule against you. Consider yourself lucky to still have an account. I have lost one PP account for a dispute at under $5. With no right to appeal.

Indeed. Buyers are protected for intangible goods and services on PayPal especially when a customer claims that an item or service is not as described. Try to escalate it to Paypal. In the end if he wins, just move on.

You'll lose the case, if you're planning to rely solely on PayPal. The thing is that selling followers is a grey area at best, PayPal won't/can't protect you, worst case scenario, you'll lose the account.

I guess you can try threatening the buyer, that you will out him on his social media profile as a scammer who regularly buys followers. You can DM all of the followers with this info, you can leave comments under the media he posts etc. If it doesn't cost you money and you aren't a reseller, you can blast the account with fake followers, who aren't only fake, but look fake as well. :)

As an addition to what i said above, macdonjo3 just posted this: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/h...r-photo-if-the-commenter-blocked-you.1022774/. It's an issue for him, but might be a weapon for you, if you're providing Instagram service. Comments can be deleted, but not if you block the user after you submitted the comment. The user won't see the comment, but everyone else will. lol

i agree ... i've been through paypal dispute and won this way

Yeah, this is one of the reasons i stepped out of tha game with pp. since you're selling a digital item and not physically shipping anything, you're not covered from paypal's tos.

I did win multiple of these types of disputes back in the day because:
1. I did HIGH VOLUME sales- and the dispute number compared to sales was quite low. they made money everytime i did so they seemed a little more lenient towards me.
2. I kept calling - find a nice representitive and plead your story. if you get a hardass, hang up and tell the last person you got disconnected.
3. too much evidence - even though i wasnt covered by the paypal tos, i gave them every ounce of evicence i could - including IP address/email/device, my websites TOS (all sales are final), etc. etc. often times this was used when people claimed that "they didnt make the purchase".

In Today's day-in-age, i wouldnt touch smm and paypal with a ten-foot pole. figure out a different way to get paid OP, or explain better to clients so they know what they're getting into, or stop selling shit digital services.

Show them that he's agreed to your TOS and send to pp a "print screen" and a link.

Another thing to prevent this in the future is you could try processing paypal thru playerauctions.com

They charge a small fee but it protects sellers rock hard. Many bitcoin sellers use this site to generally accept paypal and credit card as a payment method

A lot of good points here.
With years of experience dealing with PP I have only one word of advice and in the end you will find that I was right.
**Prepare for the worst.**

This claim has been decided in your favor.

The listing accurately described the item. We cannot grant claims based on buyer's remorse

seems like i won the case :)

but wow..paypal resolved this case really fast usually it takes days, but this case was resolved within hours

I am not sure what have you tell to your buyer before selling to him. If you said real then it is your responsibility. There is one way to win. Add 1000 real followers fastly. Before escalate to paypal. Add the real followers and take the screenshot of ig account activity to proof. If paypal will check , they can check last activity of followers only.

Could you please share what you stated on the dispute? I am going through a similar scenario and I would like to win the case.
Thank you, have a great day.

PP business account of good standing and many positive sales does have some solid protection for sellers. Congratulations on winning the dispute.
