Advertising with Adwords Question

Hey guys, last year I was using Adwords to advertise my landingpage which was selling a digital product (It was my product and my website no affiliate links)

Back then I was a complete newbie and didn't really know what I was doing. Despite that, I menaged to make some sales before I stopped that project.

Now I'd like to advertise a website that contains some affiliate links in it. Does google allow advertising websites / pages that contain affiliate links?

Also why are so many people using VPN's for Adwords on BHW and why are so many buying Adwords accounts??

1. Adwords do not allow affiliate links landing pages. you have to be very creative to fool them

2. these adwords accounts are setup for short terms usage. You start the campaign with max budget and after a couple of days they got banned. You repeat the process

Why would you do that? I don't get it why would Adwords ban you? Or are you using somebodies else payments information?

you use these accounts to promote CPA, affiliate stuff.. you can make good earnings within couple of days if you know how to do that.

There is also a method where you use adwords coupons which only works with new accounts. By using the coupons and postpaid payment methods, you use the adwords for almost free

for all these accounts eventually get banned or your cant use them after 1 time. So you need new accounts every time

Yes you may advertise cpa affiliate marketing @ adwords, they also have a option which lets you say like you advertise it.

Hey, I was in the same situation like yours few months back; before starting with AM.

So I was buying traffic from Google, Bing and Facebook for my client, promoting their business.

When I got introduced to affiliate marketing, I had the exact same question.

WHY GOOGLE BAN ACCOUNT?
WHY DO PEOPLE BUY ADWORDS ACCOUNT?

So let me try to explain you, how all of it works.

Google doesn't like affiliate marketing.
1. You can't directly send traffic to your affiliate offer
2. You can't run offers from niches like Adult, Nutra, Gambling, etc

In short the above doesn't comply with the terms and condition of Google. So if you still want to promote these offers, you need to trick the system.

So people trick the system:
1. Use cloaker to send the traffic directly to the affiliate page / sales page
2. Create multiple adwords account with threshold limit (US, Canada, UK- when you create an account you get a threshold that you can use before Google charge your card). So in short you will use VCC and Google will not be able ot charge you ever.
3. Create account and farm them to run black hat offers - because Google will suspend their accoun when they find that it is against their policy.

Thanks for replying! I've got a question though. Can I still advertise my website which contains affiliate links? I am currently building up a site with affiliate products on it and I'd like to advertise this on Adwords. Do you think something like this could work? My niche isn't Adult, Nutra , or Gambling etc...

So I did some research and it turns out Adwords doesn't allow bridgepages = Pages that contain an affiliate link. So now I am stuck. My plan was to send traffic via Adwords to my website / page and on the landing page I'd have an affiliate linking going to the affiliate sales page. Google doesn't allow this. So how can one go around this?

Method 1:

Create a landing page which has got an opt-in field for emails. Collect e-mails and send the affiliate link via e-mail to the visitor.

Now this is what a lot of marketers are actually doing. However, what If I create a landingpage which forwards the affiliate link to a order page? Could this actually work?? Has anyone got some experience in this?

Landing page > email > mail shot is the best approach for affiliate marketing with Google.

If you have a landing page with an affiliate link, your campaign will either get rejected or you will eventually just get suspended.

YoungArt, glad you did your due diligence and did your own research. A lot of the answers you read here are wrong.

As you found out, a major rule affecting affiliate marketers is the bridge page rule. You need to understand what this rule means. In plain terms, you cannot have a link from your sales page to the affiliate's sales page.

Think of it this way. You go into a store and a helpful clerk comes over to help. Basically, he's trying to sell to you just like your page is trying to sell to visitors. You are grateful and, convinced, decide to buy. You expect to be taken to the checkout. But instead, the clerk says “great, come over here, Joe will take care of you” and Joe is another clerk doing HIS sales pitch. That's a bad user experience and you are likely to go away.

What you need to do is bring the customer who has told you he's sold to the checkout, not give him another sales pitch. That checkout can be the affiliate's, indeed, it should be to get your commission.

Answering earlier questions and comments:

You only need one account. No need to buy one, they are free, you just sign up. Follow their policies and all will be fine. Those who continually churn out accounts are not following policies, got banned, and try again and again. Strange way to do things and not a good use of one's time when running a business. But different strokes for different folks. It's just that eventually, you won't be able to do this, they'll catch up with you.

Google doesn't mind affiliate marketing, just as long as all their rules are followed. You can direct link if you don't want to create your own site. The biggest single issue with that is that if the affiliate makes changes that are against the Adwords rules, you are responsible. Since you can't change it, you're screwed. Best to stick with safe products.

Thanks for replying. This method is interesting. However, I'm sure this might get a little complicated with the tracking. Do you think it is possible to provide affiliate links of the advertised product on the thank you page of the email opt-in funnel? Because this could be still track-able.

Have you ever tried this out? I think you'd have to ask the seller / your affiliate network for permission to use your own landing page first. Also I wonder how one is supposed to do that, I know one can do this with clickbank products as you just have to ad some code to your website and use a special checkout affiliate link.

I also think this is the best method. I'd create great copy text with all the right product images and descriptions and maybe even reviews and just send the customer straight to the checkout page. This method would be also "easy" to track with a tracking tool which is very important to me!

I want to use for one days and I will through that after completing threshold, but now the problem is the moment when I am creating account its getting banned after 10-15 minutes, I want to know how to get activate account without suspension, if you can help me than that is very great full for me please let me know your sk-ype or add me on sk-ype : dharamraj555

its giving me the reason for billing but I am always using fresh card to create new account

I have used the billing for like 3-4 times before i can't use it...

All these people saying its not ok to use affiliate links...
Lols I am direct linking to my affilite url and you just need to tell them what the link is in the description...


Now my problem is vcc..I am always looking for new vcc since i don't have any and if I use my old vcc its gets suspended...

For IP not sure if its one also because even I use new vcc I got suspended instant...

Now I am having a hard time creating an acc..

No new vcc and new ip is my prob
