He's a greedy cunt, but assuming these old farts can analyse the brain and understand the doings of a tech billionaire, and even have the audacity to ask "what's Facebook doing to protect the US elections" is laughable to say the least. It's a private company, it doesn't owe you anything and trying to hold it accountable for every third party looking to abuse the massive amounts of data it has is ridiculous. He owns a private business, which we willingly use and agree to its terms. Whether some of that data is used to target audiences for political reasons or not is not relevant, what's relevant is that you agreed to it in the first place, and it's not Facebook's job to protect the world from everyone with an agenda.

You know what is funnies about all this stuff??? That you cannot promote in facebook soft core dating apps, or websites like tinder with 0 nudity, as it is still "adult content", but you can pump millions money in election campaigns ads...

Never mind the nightmare that social security numbers are as a national ID number, failing to protect their citizens.

Yes there is plenty of bad stories when government do bad stuff on their people, but there need to be control and I'm happy that government do something about this. Corporations like facebook or google have to many power in those IT times... So if government will gonna sit and don't do anything after 10 years it may be very big problems, like in russia, or north korea where one person is like a god...
