How to get Google Business reviews?

I am now listed on Google Business, but the listing does not have any reviews. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get reviews for a new local business just starting out?

I assume that's something they regulate strongly, so I would assume having a majority of reviews by new or non-local accounts would do more damage than good.

Is it against some ToS or something to offer people a discount or free service in return for a "honest" review?

Does anyone else have any suggestions on getting reviews on Business listings?

You can ask them to leave reviews, google encourage you to do it.. or you can self-generate these yourself.
Im doing daily trustpilot reviews and sometimes the reviews get removed if you dont change IP and clean up your browser, nothing serious.

1. Ask friends/ family with gmail accounts to review - slow and steady does it.

And/or

2. Offer customers % discount off their next purchase if they review.

And/or

3. Buy on the marketplace here on BHW
