Is anybody here knows how long it can take to build a mansion in everage? I want to build a mansion of my own. There’s any chance to do that in 1 year?

Contact local home construction companies and get estimates on how long it takes. It can vary depending how large of a house you want, and what is the type of regulations where you live.

I read this somewhere >>

Bill Gates’ 66,000 sq.ft. home took 2 years.

If you plan to build a bigger mansion than his, then add a few more months...

As soon as I saw this thread title I just felt the OP is @vinku :) considering his recent threads I read, but looking properly it was not him:rolleyes: OP it depends on how soon you want it, they can work day and night if you got the cash to complete your mansion faster.

I have a McMansion on the way now. 100 days from shovel to keys. Doesn’t include months of permits waiting. My builders have a swarm of bad ass Mexicans who build like how piranhas eat.

2500 square feet. 4 or 5 bedroom depending on how you option it out. Will have two offices, a game room, and a dedicated free weight gym, inside the home.

Every room wired with Ethernet and 1gb/s internet.

He mentioned he wanted a mansion, not a bunglow... Probably he wants a mini theatre in every bathroom and a swimming pool in all the bedrooms. Plus kitchens within reach of each sitting room, with different sizes of McDonald's counter girls without the red and yellow in each kitchen. Then he wants car garages outside every door of the mansion, to drive from room to room... Then if you can fit a golf course in every dining room, it would be wonderful. Add helipads in every balcony... Means around 51000 helipads, are least.... No need to build loos.... The Saudi oil Corp will take care of the pipelines and they know where to find the actual seats and pots made in gold and diamonds... Paris and Antwerp...

The American dream right here, folks. Go to school, serve in the military, come home, buy a house, get it flooded by a hurricane, have another bigger better house built, make internet money to supplement.

@gnr993993, why not grab a piece of land and look into something like this? https://www.bluhomes.com/homes-landing/breezehouse

Slightly more expensive, but fully customizable and very much turnkey.

Oh I like those, but they wouldn't work well in Houston, Texas...

Down here, the air is reminiscent of being caught in a headlock, chin deep in a hairy armpit.
Although, this one seems to be well maintained... Might even smell good...

The only difference in air quality, between summer and in winter, is like the armpit was at the gym 3 hours ago. Now it's colder because it's still wet, sticky air.

Once again, these might not be "terrible" armpits, but ...

A few years ago we had like +100 days of +100F degree weather, and I felt similar to this:

It actually really depends, on how big you want your mansion to be and your budget. I would say around 1 year.

1 yr including permits and everything?
Honestly it all depends upon how you want it built?
Brick, concrete and all that fun, will take longer.
Stick built mcmansion, must faster.
Hiring 1,000 Mexicans, 100 Amish, 10 old guys, do it yourself: all a factor on the time it takes.

yeah but that is bill gates, he has amenities in his mansion that are just awesome and take time. so the real time would be far less for op.

But OP can have much better amenities than Bill Gates. OP might even buy bill gates' mansion and be rid of all the troubles associated with construction. Or he can even demolish Bill's mansion after buying it for triple the asking price, just to show off....,;):(:confused::cool::p:D
