You could try inventing a time machine and go back a few years to when mining BTC was actually worthwhile.

Because the answer is literally one Google away. Google your question "how to mine bitcoin" and you will get a TON of search results around it. Nobody is going to explain the basics when there are 10000000 answers out there.

You'd be hard pressed to mine any at this point. You could always buy them on Coinbase or GDAX with fiat.
