Hello guys, first of all sorry because i posted in the past similar thread.

I have almost 1 year blog on personal development niche which is competitive wide niche, the only monetization method is adsense which I made $50 since created blog.

I purchased in total 40+ high quality articles on some long tail keywords with more than 1k monthly searches each and with less than 30 difficult score based kwfinder.

Spent $60 for theme $500+ for articles and $500+ for link building, mostly guest posts (no PBN and Web 2) and results 20-30 daily visitors, but in the past my traffic was 70+ daily. Sometimes i think the more i work the less traffic i have.

Now don't know what can I do. Sell it or keep working on it?

I think I can't sell it on flippa more than $200-300 and this makes me more disappointed because no matter how much I spent or the quality of the website, but how much site making.

Your mistake was committing to a niche/site without testing it for conversions + buyer's intent in the first place.

It might be worth something if there's a good amount of links pointing to it, try ranking for low hanging fruits/buyer's intent keyword (?)

If you can't write yourself, you are setting yourself back on this. Pick up copywriting.

if your budget is tight and you can't scale your site yourself (Outreach and articles), you are going to be stuck at this quite often. Improve your cash flow and try again.

Unless you are a super rich guy, there is no need to invest such amount without testing stuffs.

In business, always remember, INVEST WHICH YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. Don't lose your shirt. Try out different stuffs!

I know something about personal development blogs, you can pm me the link to your blog if you want and i will see if i can give you some advice

Why exactly is it that you want to give up?
Because I am not smart enough and I will be poor the rest of my life. Life going against me and I will be average the rest of my life. McDonald's waiting me. I already spent 5 years of my life on the IM to make only $2000. Whatever I'm doing in my life always too late. I invested $1000 on the bitcoin when the price was 20k and now is 8k f*ck it.

Yeah I agree with you my mistake was committing to niche without testing it. The niche is super profitable but my main earnings will be from adsense I'm not trying to sell anything, I just need traffic to give you the idea my blog is exactly as the addicted2success . com and there are 6 categories, motivation, success, productivity, entrepreneurship , lifestyle, quotes.

I'm trying to rank more on quotes category as I found it less difficult,I don't need 1000 words articles here, but allmost all of my articles are on the 10+ page of Google.

The previous week purchased 8 guest posts some are edu links hope in some positive results.

1k searches per few KW's. No wonder the results suck.

On one of my sites my KW's 10 together have 500k searches a month and they are all under 20 difficulty.

So get some better KW's/longtails, I'm sure you can do better than 1k.

I already found niche with lots of keywords each has 10-50k searches per month and difficult score less than 20. There are 500+ keywords in this niche which can bring you more than 5m traffic in total. It's perfect for adsense.

You invest based off emotions and FOMO. I trade too. Buying the top after that huge ass pump that day wasn't a rational move.

You are afraid that you will never catch up or be better, that's why you bought the top. You are afraid you'll missing out bc that's how you define yourself.

How you feel =/= reality.

You do a lot of surface level work and expect results, without niche research and personal testing - most fail. Most of the guru shit don't work, if it's that easy everyone would be rich.

Do the hard things and watch yourself grow.

Then go for it.

If you haven't already invested in a marketing plan, which you didn't, you just wasted your money. Sell it to someone and move on. Good luck

Yeah man give up. Try something else. If that doesn't work, give up on that too and find something else. Its Try different things till you succeed and not try the same thing till you succeed.

You have got yourself in a downward spiral.

So if you could choose anything you could do in im what would it be?

List all the skills and resources you can bring.

Then create a jv on bhw for that.

Choose a partner who can bring something complimentary and that will be your quickest way out of your downward spiral.

Do you have a fulltime job as well?

If not, get some job and grind on the IM stuff part time. Do whatever you can on your own and refrain from spending any money.

You are left with the regret part mostly because you spend money on everything without actually doing the work yourself. Now, once you fail, you lose your money and gain nothing.

On the flip side, if you had learn't seo, wrote content on your own etc, you could not only have saved some money but you could have learn't some skills along the way. So, you would not have to live with the 'regret' part even if you were to fail.

My advice: Go slow, but be progressive and spend as little money as possible.

I'd look into other monetization methods besides adsense, affiliate income is better imo. You should have a little website authority by this point, you can probably rank easier keywords and get some affiliate money coming in. I'd be collecting emails and trying to monetize them too. No point in selling if you're only going to get $200 imo.

I will give myself one more chance until the end of this year.

I have plan to buy 100-200 quality guest posts and 30-50 high quality 1000+ words articles until the end of 2018. 5-10 guest posts each post and some editorial links from forbes, lifehack, huffpost to homepage. Let's see if the traffic increases.

Maybe it's time to buy some quality PBN and Web 2 links, or this is too risky?
