Just wanted to share my happy moment with you guys.

If you check my posts last year i was hardcore alcoholic, everything was going south in life. I literally looked like the guy in my dp.

Things changed now one year sober i joined gym looking better.

Well done on beating alcoholism.

Did you start going to the gym? Did it help you overcome alcoholism? I know quite a few people from my running groups who used to be alcoholics. Nothing beats the natural buzz of endorphins.

Congratulations bro...you found the real me.

Thanks man...
And once substance is out of picture the reality starts to set in that you have done nothing no savings.. No one to care for... i met a girl but she left after sometime soon... Had no life at all..
So i had two choices improve myself or get in crippling depression n relapse...
Decided to work on improving myself step by step.... Its easier said then done but yeah its working

Thank you :)
Btw you were the first one who suggested AA to me

I have had my problems with Alcohol and Depression, I tried AA but it didn't suit me but it has helped a lot of people.
I am now in a position where I can drink without falling back into bad habits but it does require will power and not everybody can get to that stage.
I recently gave up smoking and am now vaping, I am looking to quit that in a year.
I have allowed myself to get really unfit so diet and exercise are the next challenges.
Looks like the gym is helping you too, stick with it and be the best you can be.

It takes tremendous effort to make positive changes to your life and many people can't do it, you should be proud of yourself.

Meetings have a lot of complications...thats why i went to rehab which gives help on AA guidelines.

And Thank you for kind words :)
