for 1k plays, 1k accounts will be used but it depends on your account status as Monthly Listeners = average for that month.

what I noticed is for my min order of 5k, the ML will go to ~ 3k
also ML numbers will drop the next month, in order to keep them high you have to keep getting plays. Real or fake.

I hope I'm not coming off as hostile because I'm genuinely interested. To answer your question about why would you guarantee it as lifetime:
And please correct me if I'm wrong but, doesn't Spotify only pay out every 2, 3 or 4 months? So because of their payout schedule, wouldn't your guarantee give the plays a chance to drop or is there something I misunderstood or didn't take into consideration?

Depends on your distribuitor. My big customers are being paid just fine every 2-3 months.
So the guarantee will remain for 2 months.
