Hi there,
I decided to start a journey thread, because I hope it will keep me motivated and in case of success to share my experience gained in this journey.

Why?
In my 26y I'm stuck in my boring lifestyle - work, gaming, weekends out thrashed by alcohol. It's time for change, It really is. In my steam account my average daily playing time is 3,5 hours and rest of the day I'm on youtube or surfing the internet, I do some sports. I spend about 100-200$ monthly for alcohol which is too much in my country for an average person with average salary.
I want to exchange those weekends out and gaming for making websites and studying the IM.

What will I do?
As a first step into the IM i choosed G2A goldmine affiliate program. Most of you know what it is and I want to tell you I will not listen to opinions like there is too low commission to spend time on it. For me the advantage is that it is easy to make a lot of referrals so I hope quantity will beat the low commissions in the end.

My main plan is to build a large team of people who will do the job for me as I will not focus on selling the games directly through my reflink (but I will definitely do it!). My tier 1 referrals should be mainly people who will use the affiliate program aswell.

Yesterday I registered the domain and webhosting and started making the website, I will finish the work in 3 days and start the seo. I don't plan to invest too much in the beginning! All on my own, so I think I will get first people under me in 2-3 months...
This website should be crucial for the success.

That's all for the start, I don't know what to write more just to introduce my journey plans :)

Interesting journey. Not seen a G2A journey before or it mentioned much if at all here. I used to have a goldmine account years a go and I think I made ok money. Forgot my login though so I wonder how much is sitting in my account....???

Good luck. Will be following along.

Keep updating your strategies as I've not yet worked on G2A and planning to do! :D

Hey man goodluck!

I've been looking into g2a for a while, will keep a close eye on this.

Do you have any experience in SEO? What are your plans?

Having done this with both G2A and also Kinguin in the past, one of the biggest driving forces to get people to buy the keys is to do indepth reviews on the games. If you write the reviews properly and set the site up in a manner that people are naturally coming into the site, then you won't need to worry about the lower tier affiliates making next to nothing for you.

When it comes to gaming though, you really need to get a strong foothold in social media via various means. I'd say steer clear of YouTube, though. There's just too many people on it now and the competition is too tough.

First let me say big THANK YOU to all :)

I would like to mention that in the past I've done g2a affil - I'vemade only one website (presenting the affiliate, not referring to games) with reflinks, made just some texts by myself (and my English is not so good). That site was like 50% complete. And this happened:
g2a.png

But it is about 3 years and this account is already dead making 0,10€/ month. This is the reason why I choose G2A again, one shi**y website with no effort to progress, and just 621 cookies was enough to build pretty team. This time I'm starting again with one website, but the effort then and now will be the difference!

To answer your questions:
Keep updating your strategies as I've not yet worked on G2A and planning to do! :D
It will be pleasure to share anything that could help others grow, but it will take some time, I will not share anything in the beginning and just focus on trying and trying :)

Did you choose G2A because you play video games yourself? If that's the case, it's good, as you'll be well motivated
YES, first reason is the type of affiliate that G2A offers, I like the possibility of building the team in levels, to dircetly promote... Second reason is gaming niche, it is soooooo large industry that it is so "easy" to catch people's clicks. Third reason is that I really enjoy gaming as I mentioned in first post, I spend 3,5 hrs / day playing games, but I would like to cut it into 1-1,5 hr / day.

Do you have any experience in SEO? What are your plans?
Yes and No... I've made a lot of websites 6-9 yrs ago and few of them ranked really well but it was just student fun for me, I was not searching for a profit. To be honest, I don't know much what to do nowadays, I don't know what complete seo is. But I think I got the feeling for websites to rank, I do what I do, sometimes it helps, sometimes nothing happens. This G2A journey should give me so much knowledge!

I think this is not the way I will start it, but you got the point :) It will be in my TO DO list, but first, I want to be satisfied with my referral website.

Ok guys I chose the way - I will put the effort to build something like a "brand", the brand in G2A goldmine .))

1. I will be building the website, main content will be about goldmine, how to profit, what to promote...bla bla bla
2. I will write the blog here too - gaming news, reviews, tips (maybe goldmine reports too? If i will do well, people will feel the motivation to join).... just to build a content constantly. Still - people who will come through google for example to read a review, they will notice they can make money too.
3. Social sites - all social media under name of my website, with the same logo, managed by myself - no bots (maybe hehe).
  • Facebook - I don't know what I will post here, maybe mix of fun content / sharing website's content / direct affiliate.
  • Twitter - Gaming news, gaming offers with reflinks, never used this medium, I feel this wont be my cup of tea. But, it's important to spread the word .)
  • Instagram - I like it, definitely gaming memes, videos, people like this fun content, few times a week post offer with reflink.
  • YouTube - I would love to have a channel, but I have no experience with the video. I will think about paying to someone to make videos for me

So I will focus just on my domain name, my logo, website and social media content. Nothing more in the beggining. It would be easier to make more IG and twitter accounts, to be highly active on facebook, but Iam not motivated to build no name pages just to make numbers. I would be happy if I could make one method powerful, to be my "baby". Afterwards I could make senseless content to catch more people. Now a lot of work and patience coming...

I will achieve it!!!

Slow start, I hoped for at least one sale but it wasn't my target so I'm not sad. First 14 days gone... I made the website but it's completely incomplete, i put my focus in social media (still discovering how to do it .)) Given cookies are from social media and it's mostly american visitors, I would rather target European people.

Plan for the April:
  1. focus on website! Make website's static pages completed and start a blog
  2. make a first sale

Good luck. It's always interesting to follow different ways to make money online.
