Compress images on website

Man that's a long time, I have used WP SMUSH recently and it didn't take that long by
far, and it worked really well for me. Maybe contact there support and see what the problem
is with your specific server config. Maybe its an upgrade thing.

i downloaded WP smush but its been going on for 3 days now lol apprently I have over 272370 as thats how many its done right now and that 47% lol

That is a really big amount of images. Not sure if you would find anything automated that would
work faster then that. Ive never had the need to compress that many images, so I can't really say
if that is to long of a time period or not.

yeah thats issue I am having. I dont why its compressing so many images when I have half as many products lol

I recently used Imagify for a very similar need and it worked - it's not free (but very inexpensive) a $5 pack did the trick for me (with approximately the same amount of images to optimize) - I used the WP Plugin - you can Bulk Optimize all of them - just leave that tab open and leave it running for about an hour and it's done

Correction - NOT the same amount if you're talking almost 300k images lol - I was going by the ORIGINAL posted estimation of images at 25k - that's what my recommendation reflected..

haha yeah i didnt realise but i had a lot new products so the pictures shot up without me realising lol I did try imagify but as you said it gets expensive as you get more images lol
