New policy follows Facebook’s lead, takes effect in June

Google is following Facebook ’s FB lead by banning ads for cryptocurrencies and other “speculative financial products” across its advertising platforms.

Alphabet Inc.’s Google said the new policy will become effective in June across ads bought on its search and display-advertising network, as well as its YouTube unit. The policy also will restrict ads for nontraditional methods of wagering on the future movements of stock prices and foreign-exchange, such as binary options and financial spread-betting, Google said.

Anything financial has pretty high CPC so a big loss in revenue is likely for a lot of people. It wiulw be interesting to see the financial implications for loss of revenue on Google side.

They're playing the bankers' game. The Facebook ban and now this aren't a coincidence. Banks are desperate about cryptos.

The Kryptonite Scammers will find a way/work around this temporary obstacle.

There are too many SHEEPLE who are pining to become rich, yet they refuse to pay the price.
