I've tried opening a FB account for advertising purposes using a fake profile and a VPN but have to verify the account with a unique phone number. Does anyone know a way around this problem?

Have you tried using fake mobile numbers? You will be able to find useful fake mobile number generators on Google. :) -Micah

I heard about the generators of mobile numbers, you could try to use them. It helped me several times already.

don't know what is your country, but in Europe (at least in my country) you can get a mobile number for $2-$3 at a store. I bought many of them already and use them for that purpose.

I was trying to find something online but didn't find anything that actually work...

Man it is so NOT cost effective lol.

Try this : technonutty.com/2015/07/how-to-pass-facebook-mobile-phone-number-verification.html

you can simply use other phone numbers (and even not always real ones)

Yes, they always ask for the phone verification, and I think you must pass that process if you want to create an account there. They will send you a code, and you have to rewrite it correctly in a sign-up form. Only then, you can have an access to your account. Facebook is a protected site, and there is probably no way around.
