" Weed is Not A DRUG! "

makes me absolutely passive, so I only smoke 1 week in a year.

Smoke weed Everyday,
MOD in Training LIFE will be Much better :D

Its a tough one to debate I know - I myself know lots of people that smoke it. I have had long discussions with people that have smoked it for their entire lives and not had any detrimental effect. I know people that are totally hooked on it and can't go an hour without smoking it.

But I also know people that have really had a bad time from smoking it. I know people that have gone mad from smoking it.

Also, for me personally, drugs really fucked up my life. Luckily I turned things around and I am still here today but I am about 10 years behind where I should be because of drugs.

After I stopped smoking weed every single day of my life has been consecutively better. And that was 17 years ago.

Tell us why you stopped smoking, maybe that'll help us understand better. You sound like stopping is so easy. For a lot of the real smokers out here, despite all the side effects of smoking most of y'all try to make us believe, weed still makes us feel good and we don't care if anyone thinks they have a right to judge how we choose to live our lives. We all sin differently doesn't make you a better sinner.

Edit:
Okay I just read your reply above. Now I understand your reason.

To chill out once every couple months and get your perspective slightly shifted perhaps, yes.

Also, brownies > smoking and if you think inhaling non-filtered plant smoke in your lungs on a regular basis cures cancer and is the key to life or some shit, gtfo. The appearance and achievements of people who do that should be proof enough.

Totally agree - I am not taking the higher ground or anything, I respect that some people smoke weed and are fine and happy. Thats the funny thing about it - I think it really effects different people in completely different ways.

When I smoked it, I was very lazy; basically I didn't want to do anything, I just wanted to be permanently stoned, all the time. I also have a very addictive personality which probably doesn't help.

Eventually it started to make me really paranoid - and I mean really beyond normal type paranoid.

How I gave up - well, it took quite a lot for me to give up, a combination of a few things - getting into quite a lot of trouble, having some really bad experiences with weed and also from my mum begging me to give up (that was probably the main factor).

After I gave up my life kept going downhill for quite a few years, or at least thats how it felt. I had panic attacks for a long time afterwards and I was very paranoid for a long time afterwards. Also, life wasn't going well either - it seemed like I had little good fortune, nothing going for myself and so on. But eventually life started to pick up for me and now its going pretty well :-)

I am not saying that is all related to weed, of course not. But my opinion about drugs in general is that they are an escape - all types of drugs take you to a better place; they seem really great when you are taking them but all the time you are high I think you end up neglecting your real life.

Just because a lot of people who smoke regularly don't experience many side effects, doesn't mean that's true for most https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivorship_bias

Also, come oon with the judging thing - he just explained what worked for him. If weed is so objectively great why do you feel the need to justify yourself for using it, and go with the old "you're not better than me" crap

I smoke every day all day except when I am at my job. You guys that are saying you get lazy and useless after the high are smoking the wrong bud. I smoke only sativa and I do not get tired. I actually get more energetic when I smoke. I get a lot of work done when baked. Also I become more creative for my writing which is a plus.

One of the last times that I ever smoked weed I had a seriously bad experience with it as well - it must have been some strong weed but basically I completely freaked out. I thought that my heart had actually stopped, and I couldn't work out why I was still alive and able to move. I ended up calling 999 (emergency services in the UK) myself and had them pick me up.

Then, on the way to the hospital I thought that it was some sort of trick and they were not ambulance drivers but really had come to pick me up and then take me somewhere to kill me, so I was totally freaking out in the ambulance as well.

That's one side of it that i personally experienced. The other thing is that (in some cases) it takes over your life - weed was more important to me than anything else. I spent all of my money on it, I sold my possessions for it, I stole for it. Because it was just so important to me.

Whilst I respect other people using it and I am not judging anyone for using it, for me its a definite no-no.

Luckily you turned things around, that's Good to Know!

You said - 17 years without smoke .. Is it True to be honest ?

I meant, Don't you at-least tried once in between the 17 years ?

i used to get i guess a little paranoid, but only because it was illegal. like picking up a bag, sitting on the street while your friends in there getting a bag. wondering if theres cops around. once i was in a raid, wait i walked into a raid that was happening. big dealers house, knocked on the door and cops pointing their guns at your head. i just got my pipe taken from me
