Another reason why internal linking is pretty important but often overlooked, and not doing what everyone does and that’s ‘keyword cannibalism’.

Google clever, and like some control - let them think they’re doing the work and finding you of their own accord... use the tool for a nudge, not a punch

Several of the Indexing services that submit directly to google have stopped working and a number of threads have popped up about it.

I think the reason is down to Google changing request indexing limits & quotas and crawl limits in search console.

Saw this linked in another thread, thanks for sharing the urls. I still think there's a decent chance that this is just temporary and things will go back to normal shortly, but the method is going to die at some point and it's a bad sign that they're talking about abuse of it publicly.

Pretty sure they took action because it was openly discussed on BHW. Well, it was good while it lasted.

Possible. There are also way more automated tools for it - a few of which I've hardly (never?) seen openly discussed here - and there's probably a limit to how many submissions they're willing to tolerate.

I haven't really been effected by it or heard anything about it until now. Thanks for sharing the links though it was an interesting read.

I got hard time indexing my new sites :D I was like wtf , well now i know.

The video sitemaps method still works. If you need a backlink indexing, create a new wordpress post containing a link and install a 301 plugin that will let you redirect that post to the backlink. Then ping the video sitemap ;)
can you explant it in detail?

how to index expired domain?? i tried 3 days and nothing i made social signals nothing...

multiple gmail accounts is the answer

I think we should focus on building quality sites with awesome content. Indexing will be taken care of by SE like Google. Gone are the days of forced indexing.

How long did you have to wait for the indexing by the video-sitemap method? I'm trying it right now and it is not as fast as it used to be. In fact, I tested it on 3 Pages a few hours ago and it's still nothing indexed. I remember this method of being a thing of minutes.

Nevermind, I can confirm video-xml still works fine, just needs more time :D

Does the video method index offsite urls as I can only get it to work within its own website?
