Well Goldman Sachs owns a % of circle and therefore now owns a % of Poloniex so you are both right!

They can't just straight purchasing crypto exchange (witch is most banker hate it, but deep inside of them they love it and see the opportunity through it). Plus they are a big company with 900+ billion asset.
So they are more likely hiding behind "Circle" when making the purchase. (my theory, I can be wrong).

It's possible, maybe they tried to hide behind them but in that case they failed. Everyone is talking now about it hahah We will see what will happen, I hope they didn't buy it just to ruin it
