best tier 1 link building strategy?

Hi,
I know there a few link building methods, guest posts, broken link building, article submission etc for tier one links..

for me ( a noob) learning all and executing them would be very difficult right now,
would any1 suggest what would be the single, effective but easiest link building method from the above that i can start off with?

I would say expired web 2.0s. I think those are the strongest links you can get for free if you know how to scrape them. If you don't know, just buy a few or build new web 2.0s and build tier 2 links.
