I've been blasting parasites with GSA lately and am still seeing good results.

Working theory is that Google's too much of a pussy to give any significant penalty for (most) GSA blasts due to the abuse potential for NSEO. Even if a lot of the blast ends up being trash, some decent links will slip through while the trash is devalued.

Not that I can think of, algoroo is clear and I haven't heard anyone else report anything around that date. May be its something manual. Like I said, its the first time I have ever seen it happen like that in hundreds of money page blasts.

Totally agree with you about the potential for NSEO with it if this is how G have decided to move forward.

there must be a reason why gsa platforms arent passing link juice anymore. probably high OBL and something else, high obl alone isnt spam detector

I think it's a lot of small reasons that have added up over time - the sites that it can post to decreasing in both quantity and quality, more platforms no following links, Google getting better about not indexing junk content / duplicate content / tons of pages on low authority domains, Google devaluing links from websites that go offline frequently (one of Shaun's theories), etc.

if there is no competition, yes, you can either:

wait some time
or spamblast the crap to some properties and wait some time.
effect will be the same.

it aint 2009 anymore. and you'll be just blasting noindexed links (or soon to be noindex) and burning $$ on proxy and captchaz. while other buy some real posts...

I've seen plenty of parasites ranking with 100-200 gsa links on authority websites.

I personally would not use it.I know others who use it as a tier 2 or tier 3 strategy to push some extra juice,but its not worth it.The most important thing Google looks at is the relevance of your links.GSA cannot and will not pick up relevant industry links.
