BHW Members Should Be Able To Expose MOD Abuse

Currently there's a rule that prevents BHW members from sharing with the general community what a MOD has said/done in private (i.e issued warnings / infraction etc.).

I believe this could lead to some MODs feeling that they can get away with murder and do anything they want. Because if you were to post what a MOD has done its called "MOD Abuse".

Why shouldn't the general BHW members be able to have MOD's actions be scrutinized in day light by the rest of the community?

Is this a democracy, or a dictatorship ? Just wondering....

I believe if we remove this rule, it would keep MODS in check and prevent them from possibly abusing their powers.

Because they'd have to answer to the general community if they issued silly warnings or infractions or bans over some ego / power trip.

Hmm all the mods these days are pretty awesome. I agree with @Alex D. - if you don't do anything that breaks rules you're probably fine - though I do see what you're saying about a kind of checks-and-balances. But that could turn ugly really quickly with people only sharing their side of the story. Kind of a tough situation, really.

However, this is a business, and it's run be people who are trusted by the owner and his associates, so that's pretty much all there is to it lol.

This is a privately owned business. Bottom line? They can do whatever the fuck they want. I would be willing to bet a lot of money, that they have rules that they have been issued, to follow, and rules to enforce.

Yes, generally speaking... you're right and most of the Mods do their job very well. Can't complain.

But IMO, there are a few MODs I have a few choice words for... but I'll keep that to myself.

My point is... EVERYONE has an ego... Yes, that means even MODs.

And EVERYONE is susceptible to power and can let that power get to their heads.

I'm just suggesting a way to help remind MODs to keep their emotions and egos and power trips in check.

Just like how body cameras helps to balance out things.

Posting a general whinge about "waah, a mod acted unfairly to me" is ridiculous. And, for what it's worth, it's not a dictatorship - just like it isn't a democracy. Those of you who've categorised it as such need to go back and read up on their ideologies. I'm not pandering to this amount of hyperbole and attention seeking - the conspiracy theories are even more ridiculous. Illuminati... hmm, sounds legit
