Can I Create a SILO Structure to An Old Site?

Hey People, I've a 4 months old Amazon Affiliate Site, ranking already on some good keywords and making +350$ per month. I just knew about SILOs lately, Can I apply it on my site now?

Is that mean that backlinks I got on "xyz.com/best-blah-blah/" will disappear because the article link will be "xyz.com/reviews/abc/best-blah-blah/" or the 301 redirect pass the same link juice to my new permalink?

To be honest, if the site makes money already, I would not bother. You rarely need SILOs nowadays. If your site is within the same niche like arts, cars, clothes etc., then really don't bother. It's a huge risk if you are already pulling some decent money.

Thanks Man! I don't really know a lot about SILOs but I read some cool case studies on it.

However, Yes the site is about to cross $400 this month and it's just 4 or 5 months old and I still didn't use all my keywords, So yes this site is pretty important for me. So I don't want any risks, Specially that as a Newbie, $400+ per month matters for me.

And also yes all of its keywords within the same niche , so SILOing in this case not really important right?
