Hi,

I am a newbie who has been lurking on the forums for a month or two looking to find a economical way to start my IM journey and after a lot of research over the past month, I have zeroed down on driving traffic to my website through Pinterest. I am in the process of being added to various group boards but before I end up paying for the invites, I want to know how much traffic I can expect from the boards? I am asking this because most of the boards that I have browsed seem to be filled with irrelevant pins ( really different from the topic of the board).

So, does adding relevant pins make you stand out or just like facebook, the reach of the posts(pins) will be stifled because too many contributors are pinning at the same time.

Any other guidance on this topic will be highly appreciated.

I am in a similar position and want to know the answer to this. Also OP, any experiments yet?

Hi, @blackhat_noob. Of course, you need add relevant pins. Your post must be related to your pinterest strategy and niche. You can know more about this here: https://devumi.com/2017/10/pinterest-traffic-pins-boards/

Pinterest is no longer a easy traffic source like it used to be. Few years back all you had to do was get lots of followers and get into as many as big group boards you can. But now it's hard to prefect their Algorithm. Your PINs are not visible to all of your followers and you don't how many likes or pins you get. Also you can rank for keywords just with lots of likes and pins. At least in my case Im no longer getting traffic like it used to be. So don't focus 100% yourself into Pinterest.

Hey @krishnaverma can you PM me regarding fb page verification that you mentioned on another post? I can't reply on that thread and since the post count is low, currently, can't PM you either.

It's much harder to get sustainable traffic and conversions on Pinterest nowadays.
