Hello all and welcome to my first official journey here on BHW. Before I start my journey here's a little about me. I am a 20-year-old SEO manager from the UK. I have been doing SEO for 3 years now and have been attempting to make money online for the last 5 years.

Over the years I have tried out a number of things including YouTube, Fiverr, and Amazon Affiliate websites I have had varied success with each of these but never reached the goals I wanted to. So the goal for 2018 is to reach a monthly profit of £600. Now £600 to some may not seem like a lot but with this, i would be able to pay rent and use any other money I have left over to save up for future plans.

Mid last year I moved out for the first time and since moving out I have realised I am horrific with money and time management. So as well as working to build an online empire I am also going to be working on improving both of the skills listed above.

Current Projects

Currently, i have 2 separate projects going on:

Instagram Account - This was originally going to be used for an affiliate site i was developing but that never took off.

Current Stats: 1954 Followers, 70 likes per post on average.

Freelance Work - Currently I have one piece of Freelance working going a content gig. This was sourced from a mutual friendship and is the second piece from the client so looks like a long-term gig.

Work - 0/150 posts

The Plan

To help me reach my goal i will be working on 5 projects to maximize my profit.

1) Adult CPA Website

This is something i have a fair amount of experience in with successfully ranking a number of sites on page one for a number of adult keywords. I have been looking through crakrevenue over the last day or so and have found a few offers which look promising.

2) Offline Computer Repair & Build Service

I am a massive computer nerd and have been building/repairing computers in my local area for about 10 years now. I have mostly been doing it for friends and family but i want to expand this in 2018.

My plan for this is to pull in potential clients from my area through Facebook and a website targeting local keywords.

3) Freelance Work

I currently have 2 clients which send me work every couple of weeks which nice but again this is something I want to expand in 2018. A lot of my day to day job is dealing with SEO clients so i am pretty confident on the phone/email so I am confident I can pull in a few local clients to help me reach my goal.

4) Clickbank and YouTube

This is something that i have a little experience within, in the past, I have run a number of YouTube channels that have had some decent success on their own but didn't give me the return i was expecting. So my plan now is to develop a YouTube channel based on one Clickbank offer and work on pushing people through to a sales page.

5) Instagram Account

This one is more of a side project that is kind of left on automation. I have been using OnlyPult recently to schedule all my posts for this account. This means as long as i keep OnlyPult up to date i can just leave this on autopilot until i figure out the best way to monetize it.

The Budget

Currently, my budget for the project is £500 a month. I plan to invest 80% of all profit back into the project while also saving the remaining 20% for future plans.

Budget: £500
Spent: £12.99
Remaining: £487.01

Today's To Do List

Every day I will be putting my to-do list live here on BHW in an attempt to push myself to achieve these goals or face ridicule from fellow users of BHW.

  • Write 5 posts for freelance work
  • Go through all of the offers i picked out from CrakRevenue and pick one
  • Schedule this week Instagram posts on OnlyPult
  • Start looking through all of clickbanks offers to look for something i know a bit about.
  • Keyword Research for computer repair & build website

Post of the day

To try and help people out everyone, I will be sharing one post each day that I believe will give some of the new people and maybe some of the old ones some new ideas/ways to look at things.

An amazing thread from @Shaunm I have been following it for a while now and have to say its a great Journey. Best of Luck to you man!

I will finish this off by saying I am no marketing expert and I don't claim to be but I do know what I am doing online. So if anyone has any questions or suggestions feel free to post them below.

Good luck mate! Hope you'll reach your goal at least...or, why not, overcame it! ;)

You'll definitely smash that mate.

Good luck!

Write 5 posts for freelance work

Only managed to get 4 done last night so will do an extra one today. I did, however, manage to score another freelance gig which is great. This is from the same guys as my last one which is nice to see.

Go through all of the offers i picked out from CrakRevenue and pick one

Narrowed it down to two which are from the same company just different offers so will be using both of them for my Adult CPA website.

Schedule this week Instagram posts on OnlyPult

Done

Start looking through all of clickbanks offers to look for something i know a bit about.

Made a short list of about 25 offers that are in topics i understand so i will be looking at the keyword potential for each and pick out the best.

Keyword Research for computer repair & build website

I now have a list of over 150 keywords related to computer repairs and builds around my local area. I have done a 10-mile range for now and plan to expand when i have the funds/free time

To do list

  • 6 Articles for Freelance Work
  • Go through document sent over for the second gig.
  • Start KW Research for Clickbank offers
  • Start planning for Computer Repair website, Thinking i might go with a silo structure for this one not sure yet.
  • Look for and message 30 people with over 50k followers on insta for shoutout.

Great plan with SMART goals.

For me, initial wins are critical to ongoing motivation.

Go big or go home... Not for me

Instead...

Steady, planned and managed growth (not as sexy, but hey whatever work ;-))

Good luck and watching thread

Posting later than normal but had a hectic day so only just found the time to post it.

Good luck man! It's good to keep your goals realistic in the beginning!

Thanks a lot!

Good luck man, nice to see a realistic goal for once and a well thought out plan.

Thanks a lot. Yeah i figured it was best to start out small and expand once i knew exactly what i was doing.

Thanks a lot man. I have tried to make money online in the past and it usually fizzles out because i get wrapped up in the buzz of the money. Figured take it slow plan everything out and see what happens this time. =)

Today to do

Not doing as much today as had a stressful day at work and need to plan some stuff for new starters next week.

  • Do more kw research for clickbank offers
  • See who messaged me back about shoutouts and see who gives me the best offer.
  • Brainstorm channel names/branding for clickbank yt channel
  • Look at and.co and see if its worth using for freelance work.

*Update*

Didn't post on Friday or over the weekend as couldn't do any freelance work as needed to prepare for today for my new starters at work.

KW Research on Clickbank offers

About halfway done now.

See who messaged back on Insta

Got 14 replies working on prices with most of them now.

Brainstorm Channel Name/Branding Ideas

Got the name just need to get an idea of what i want the branding to look like then will message my logo guy on Fiverr

Look at And.co

Had a play around over the weekend and it does look good just not to sure about how its full potential at the minute.

Good journey thread. Interested to see how the Instagram shoutouts go, and what sort of offers you get back.

Nice journey. Like how you are breaking it down into manageable steps and actually following them through.

By the way; I’m also running a local computer repair business and the best form of advertising I’ve found so far has been Local flyer drops.

Good fortunes mate! Expectation you'll achieve your objective at least...or, for what reason not, conquered it!

Seems that you have very detailed plan.I wish you big success.
