So true! LTP sucks for determining the KD. Same goes for Semrush as they use similar formula. It's best to do manual research and examine all top ranking pages for a particlular pages.

Glad I stumbled across this guide. Thank you very much. I found this guide to be more geared toward product based affiliate sites which is right in line with what I like to do and am used to. Really liked the tip on looking at Page 2 and 3. I never do that at all and would give a good indication of "real competition"

So you find KWFinder a good choice for filtering out competitive results? I've debated purchasing the software but haven't done so yet.
