It's just that i've seen domains(keyword in the domain name) with no backlinks and 0 PR beat sites that do have a lot of backlinks. That's why i was asking.

No I heard some guy on a metacafe video about SEO mention that. Its a great example of the power of anchor texts.

Sorry,i get confused.I use blog to post products (not to post fresh content,when you ask me,i think that you ask me if i use blog to post articles etc.)
I use wordpress and an free plugin to post amazon products.

So i'm planning to implement some kind of Amazon script into the domain i bought, but if i did that, wouldn't i get slapped for having duplicate content??

Amazon doesn't have duplicate content .....

With their feed plus YOUR unique design, etc = no duplicate .....

Well, actually my host crapped out on me a few days ago. Lost everything. Then using a google cache of my site I was able to get it back online. Today 363 impressions - 16 clicks - $7.53 - NOT TOO SHABBY If I say so myself....
