How domain name can affect the SEO

Right now, it's almost impossible to get a great, meaningful .com domain.

I see there are many domains, like .act, .agency , .biz to sell.
I am wondering if these domains have any negative effects on SEO.

I agree with you. But I just read an article about if include kw in domain is necessary. It says that, if the domain including keywords is too long, it might not be a good idea.

Use the top rated keywords while assigning name to your website so it will help you to rank your website in SEO. TLD has some effect but if your website is good then TLD will not cause any issue.

I read google loves and trust .edu more, so try to get one.

tld does not affect rankings. You can find good .com's in many marketplaces. See my signature for example.
