How to monetize a Fan Page?

Hello!

I have been growing an Instagram account for the last few weeks and it got 1k followers already. I am doing the usual follow/unfollow method. The page is a fan page of an "influencer". The bot is constantly following/unfollowing people, and the site has also some posts already which are from the IG page of the influencer.

My question is, how can I monetize my page, and when should I start to monetize (I mean at how many followers)?

1k followers isn't so much. You can try to monetize by some CPA offers.
Personally I would prefer to have atleast 20k followers and then start monetizing.

1k is nothing as your CVR will be very low trust me. Most people fail because they pull the trigger too soon.

Yes I know that 1k followers are not much, that's why I asked at how much I should start to monetize. I tend to avoid CPA offers, since they seem to scare the traffic, and I do not want my followers to unfollow me. I was more thinking about and ad post, or putting an affiliate link in my bio.

And I should mention that most of my followers are young (aged like 10-18 years old) if that matters.

Wait till you're at 10-15k then start, build up the quality of the account till then. Don't buy fake followers in case you're considering that

As for the age group, that's a little low might have trouble converting as they don't really have credit cards and easy access to money , but can't say for sure as I've never targeted this age group.

Well @Stiletto suggested the right thing to you @gsy159 . I have also an Instagram page with 3k+ followers but trying hard to manage quality content and gain real followers and will start monetizing after at least 15k+ followers so i will also suggest you do the same buddy. I think age group does matter according to your content.

There are so many factors to consider. How big is the influencer, how many followers do they have? Is it a he or she? What niche are they in? Can you sell unofficial fan merch?

You could sell merch. You could direct the followers to YouTube videos and earn that way, that demographic is famous for wasting hours on YouTube. Even if they are not the target demo they can be used to grow a channel which can later be used to target another demographic to earn from. You could approach people who want to advertise to your demographic once the page is big enough with advertising and sponsorship opportunities. You could take paid shoutouts from upcoming influencers who want to be the next....

If the influencer in question promotes products you too could promote those products and talk about him/her talking about them and include your own links.

Too many ways to mention and go into but there are tons of other methods too depending on the specifics.

I would say thinking about monetizing at 1k isn't the best thing to do. Wait for a while, work a little harder, think of different ways how you could increase your followers and then once you've 15k-20k followers atleast then start thinking about it. If you have more, that's even better.

If you start promoting CPA links already, that might slow down your growth and the numbers won't increase as fast as they should.
