I have decided that I wanted to try my hand at writing content articles. Can anyone give me any useful tips or a guide that you found helpful when writing your first article?

Not at first. I’d like to freelance to start anyways. Once I get a little practice I’d like to find my niche and design my first webpage cantered around my niche and maybe incorporate a blog into that. I heard always make a outline and ask yourself questions as this improves the quality.

I’m definitely a planner so an outline for sure. It helps keep me on topic and helps with my whole thought process and transferring it into writing that somebody besides me could understand as well.

I think you should use google for this venture, you would get more useful steps there. But basically writing article involves getting know what you want to write about and how to make it catchy.
But use google.

Do not be scared of the subject. It might seem intimidating at first, but with proper research, you can write it fast.

Always prepare yourself for in-depth research and look beyond the first page of Google. I go through at least 5 of them.

If you feel that you do not have the specific vocabulary, research some more and find words that you can use. But, do not make it too complicated. It has to sound natural, yet knowledgeable. Also, in the beginning, you should write outlines - it is just easier that way, and it helps you stay on the right track.

Either way, think about what inspires you and drives you. Start writing about it. Read a lot and try to be disciplined with your writing.

Post at least 1-2 posts per week and share it on your social media and with friends. Ask for their opinion and suggestions.

Remembering that there is always room for improvement is the key here. Also, use better writing tools like hemingway app, Copyscape and grammarly.

The topics should accessed by the users and should get updated with the time. If you would like to post the content for the technical users then there should be technical terms, if it is for general category then the contents should be simple and easy to understand.

It is always recommended to have the contents with the combination of text and images so it become interesting for the users while reading and they got engaged with the same for the more time.

SEO point of view, you should use the keywords according to your contents though it is for general user or special users. Make sure to take the audience in consideration while writing the contents. You have to convert yourself according to readers.
