Closing Payoneer Account?

So I'm trying to close a payoneer account for few months now, sending them emails, get no response.
anyone has experience with this issue?

I haven't tried that one yet. Although i always get a response from their support within one business day or usually just in a few hours lately.

but I Tried 3 or 4 times in the last year to close an account with no replay.. maybe this time.

For me Payoneer are a nightmare to get hold of. They have always been that way. Their live chat is easy to use but you have to wait a while first.

Just login online you can close account from there easly

Yea. Payoneer is a bit of a nightmare for me too. I needed to use it for a small time, and then when I went to close the account it clung to me like a clingy ex. Took almost a month before I finally managed to get it closed.

I don't know exactly what was OP's reason, but unless you have a good reason, i don't really see the point. If you don't use the account and your balance reaches zero and it stays like that for a few months, they automatically disable the card, you won't end up owing money. If you want to use the account again later at any point, you can ask them to unblock the card or issue a new one, if it's already expired.

Apparently you can close the account though, but it appears to be a rather lengthy process.

Well that's alwys better to close something you don't use. Never know, if there are fees or what (or in the future) or US gov claim taxes, etc.

You can find all the associated fees with your account after you logged in and searched for it in the Help section.
There's an account inactivity fee of $3/month, if you don't use the account. If you have a balance, they deduct that each month until your balance covers it, when it runs out and the balance stays zero for a few consecutive months, they simply disable the card, no more charges, no nothing. The balance can't go below zero, it's a debit card, which is valid for 2 years. You most certainly won't end up owing the US gov taxes, because after your income you were supposed to pay those already to them or to your home country, if you aren't from the US. I'm using Payoneer since 2008, so for 10 years now. They blocked my card for inactivity once and it went down exactly the way they (and i) described it.

But the account can be closed, as you can see it, OP reported back. You just need to contact their support and wait patiently.

I wasnt aware there were inactivity fees.
I am planning to use payoneer with Amazon US associates (I'm outside US). I don't know when I will start earning commissions, maybe 4/5 months after registering. So I will have to pay those fees every month plus the annual card fee ($30). That's not so cheap. Anyway that's the only solution to get my amazon payments so I guess I dont have the choice...

Until you don't receive payments, the balance is zero, so there's no inactivity fee. Practically the first payment activates the card. Once you received your first payment, they will deduct the card activation fee, which is $5 for me, maybe it's different for you. After you have a positive balance and you use your card at least once per month, you won't pay the inactivity fee either. I keep seeing this annual fee mentioned, i'm not certain about this, i've never paid it, that's for sure. I guess this is account dependent too. I got this card i have now via Fiverr, i had multiple cards from Adultfriendfinder and Chaturbate too, but i've never paid the annual fee.

Do you see the annual fee listed there? Because i can't see anything of that sort.
