I had seen a lot of posts about sites like iWriter here but very few people mentioned their experiences with alternative websites. In this post I am sharing my experience with DotWriter and how you can make money on the site. I hope content writers on this forum benefit from this post.
What is Dotwriter.com ?
It is a an online marketplace where one can either sell or buy articles. One can buy from already written content present in marketplace there or request a custom job. Thus as a writer also, you can earn two ways.
How can you earn on Dotwriter ?
1) First is by writing the custom jobs. You can click on content desk and then see the available projects. Depending on your membership level, you can choose a project. the pay per 100 words also depends on your membership level but it is way better than iWriter. Minimum is $2 per 100 words.
2) Second way is that you can submit already written articles in marketplace section. Whenever someone purchases the article, the price is credited in your account. I had got sales from this section and thus it means that they do promote the section.
Other things to keep in mind
1) All articles submitted to marketplace are checked by editors manually. Only decent articles are let in.
2) Minimum $10 is required to withdraw currently by Paypal.
