SEO for Gambling Sites?

How competitive is the niche he wants you to rank for, high or medium. If it is a competitive gambling term, I would not waste my time.

I will have to choose my own keywords. From what I saw, I'm pretty much f$#%ed when it comes to money ones. I'm hoping to start ranking for longtails and let's see their budget :)

Try some PBN or buy high PR links from real bloggers. Just search for those who are ready to sell few links. But keep in mind SEO in Gambling niche gonna be expensive.....but once you get ranked; it worth doing ;-)

Longtail keywords is one way to rank for competitively and get traffic in time. But that would still be a case to case basis. You will need a lot of longtail keywords for a gambling site. I would say that it is safe to both invest on SEO and paid campaigns.

As everyone knows its a tough niche. It takes lot of effort, time and money to get ranked. Get some links from high PR,DA sites on casino niche. In parallel do some on-page optimization also. If your client can afford and capable of waiting with patience to see a long lasting result, it can be achieved with right methods in practice.

That's what I'm currently doing. I'm only focusing on the best and most Google-legal ways to do things work. The on-site paid off so far :)

Ahh, very tough niche for link building, Try to build as many web 2.0 platforms as possible, and one more thing is blog posting in only gambling websites. Never post your article in any other niche by mistake even it can harm your site like anything.

Try and get as many high quality backlinks as you possibly can!

You will need powerful homepage links from sites that accept linking out to gambling themes. Its going to be very tough for you with a little budget.

I would suggest to try finding keywords that have low competition. I know it is difficult but there are always some opportunities.

Its really tough even after buying high quality links and building highly optimized content it is still very difficuly. I think if you want to compete for keywords that get around 2,100 exact searches in a geo you will need to spend at least $2k/month in casino blog posts.

I'm currently ranking a gambling niche site without any marketing budget, just using purely white hat techniques.

The only problem is that I'm really struggling to make any money from it.

I'm currently promoting gambling affiliate advertising on it and the sign ups are virtually non existent :(

I work for a casino site. However, if you want to tackle some affiliate commissions, perhaps you can find more information on http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/ Hope it helps :)

If you can get ranked for anything in the gambling niche, you'll be making bank. It's worth trying out, just to get some of the traffic that comes with it.

What niche is it Cardiff designs? If you are sending clicks, it could be to a non converting or unscrupulous brands.

A lot of operators will give you a guaranteed EPC these days. If you are getting regs but no depositors, get a CPL.

If you are getting FTD's but no Revenue, get a CPA!

Don't let the operator make you take all the risk!

In short:
For gambling/casino/poker sites you can do 2 kind sof SEO:
1. On-page optimization (CTAs, KWs)
2. Off-page (CLEAN CODE, and back-linking)
I hope it helps!

For gambling sites SEO, there are less resources for link building as compared to other business sites. You need to spend some money for link exchanges, getting good backlinks from good relevant sites etc. Some web 2.0 posting... Good quality content and proper knowledge is must.
