Hi guys,

Wanted to share with you guys why im going to shove MORE (im already in ripple since 0.74~) money into ripple (as soon as it dips, I dont buy at all time highs)

According to ripples' owner they are working on partnerships with 2 'huge companies that are household names' - i believe one of them is amazon, heres the tweet from Joel (founder)

DQwL79xUIAASFoC.jpg

You can find his original msg somewhere on twitter.

2nd - there was a screenshot released of XRP to be on coinbase on the 1/8/2018.
theres probably a 99% it will get to coinbase in 2018 even without the screenshot.

So based on these 2 things...XRP will only grow, im a big believer in ripple got in a little late but im going to get more...

Hope that helps guys, this isnt financial advice but buy ripple :) lol

Whatever currency that hits Amazon will 10-20x right away. I'm going to put a few k into Ripple, as it's possible, but I'm not 100% convinced.

Im pretty sure its' amazon.
Let me put it that way.
The only 2 coins that make sense for amazon are - litecoin or XRP.
Xrp is faster and has lower fees.

BTC is out of the question with the slow transactions and $50 fee on a $100 transaction.
BCH is crap. ( i hold it but its crap)

So if amazon were to add any crypto, i believe its either LTC or XRP, between these two if I was amazon id go with the centralized one, which is ripple.

For a platform as large & broad as Amazon, it's important that the currency is well known. Sure, LTC and XRP are both massive if you know about Crypto, but the VAST VAST majority of Amazon users/ general public barely even know what BTC is.

If it's not BTC (Which it probably won't be like you said) then it will be a good few months away before anything happens.

But then again the founder of ripple which is a very honest guy and iv been following for a while, he doesn't just throw shit out there, said they are partnering with "2 huge companies that are household names"

The only 2 companies that are household names that I know of and are relevant, are Apple and Amazon.
It can't be "Josef's t-shirt company" because Josef isn't a household name.

You have a point with the "currency that ppl know" theory, BUT, amex did partner with ripple so i dont think its a huge deal, and btw I think that ppl that are comfortable with using BTC to pay are also comfortable with ripple, its been all over the place, and if they aren't, amazon will release a short video on ripple...

Besides if ripple is being added to coinbase, everything starts to make sense cuz itll be easier to buy ripple as well and then spend it on amazon

if you think about it a few years back ppl probably didnt know about using Paypal and now i know 70 yr old grandmas that are paying with paypal so again...thats tech and ppl will adapt imo :)

I love @zionbar 's enthusiasm just as much as everyone else. Shit, the kid is getting so excited he can barely string a sentence together. But please, before throwing money into something, do your research. Ripple is great. The company. XRP is not. People are blindly throwing money at this because people say to blindly throw money at it. Bunch of hype men.

Only a small percentage of XRP is actually tradable/on the market. Ripple (the company) owns the rest. They are literally controlling the supply. Them doing so is hyper-inflating the value. There are almost 100 billion XRP. Less than 39 billion of them are tradable on exchanges. The company can decide when to release more. It is premined. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174854.msg2352658#msg2352658. It's not even a cryptocurrency. It's a privately-operated fiat currency.

Ripple is a company whose blockchain technology could revolutionize banking. No banks are using it, though. They are "testing", but nobody is buying in. Amazon sure as shit isn't going to buy in. But hey, let's trust a tweet from a big baller of the company in control of the inflated Ripple supply of over $70 billion. He surely has nothing to gain from leaking vague information such as this.

XRP is Ripple's coin. They hold over 60% of it themselves and have been desperately attempting to pump it into stardom for several years. It's been pumped and dumped before, on multiple occasions. XRP has a history of instability and is a sinking ship that is shiny and new and backed by a company that has promise.

XRP is one of the most unstable of the unstable altcoins. @zionbar doesn't even know who the founder of Ripple was. He's "https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/you-think-ripple-is-done-think-again.997485/#post-10684020"? You had no clue what crypto even was https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/what-would-be-the-best-place-to-learn.948865/. I know that probably seems like forever, right? Let's not forget that this was even before you were insistent that https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/why-you-must-get-rich-being-poor-is-selfish.952088/. Good god, a guy who literally wrote "poverty rates are EXTREMELY HIGHER in poor neighborhoods vs rich neighborhoods" is now an idiot savant about a multibillion dollar currency.

Jed McCaleb is the founder of Ripple, and has been doing shady shit for years. Right now he's the head of ANOTHER completely premined, fully company-controlled coin (Stellar). Before that he created Mt. Gox. That worked out well. Ripple is an overhyped piece of shit talked up by overhyped pieces of shit. It is the super hot pump and dump right now. A lot of people are making a lot of fake money because they are refusing to sell. Yes, I have strong anti-crypto feelings, but goddamn, XRP is the shittiest of guttersluts in the cryptocurrency world.

And it's being peddled by thousands of little zionbars. Magical crypto gurus who didn't know where the fuck to start six months back.

I'm done spouting about how most altcoins are pump and dumps backed by nothing but ideas and empty promises. This should be evident by now. But Ripple is the biggest one of all, and when it goes down in flames, this is the one event I will be standing on the sidelines laughing my ass off about. It is the epitome of retards not knowing what the fuck they are doing, and trying to tease out the meaning of "a household name".

And before the classic "you're just mad because you didn't buy in", fuck off. I didn't buy in because of the reasons listed above. All of them. I'm mad because people are being taken advantage of. And they aren't even going to know it until the shit hits the fan. I'm mad because clueless fuckers are causing distrust in the concept of finance. I'm mad because all of a sudden every rich boy fuckface is suddenly an expert.

@zionbar, you're great. You're adding a lot to the conversation and getting people excited. But shit, man, you have been talking out your ass for months now.

I received news on this from reliable source too. Target is $10 for ripple and should be easily exceeded within the next month or so. I am not vested on ripple currently but would most likely purchase shortly since at current price, the risk/reward ratio is simply amazing. I seldom recommend any crypto but this particular crypto, fellow members should take a look.

@mickyfu @Sherbert Hoover here guys ill sum it up... ripple is a bubble... heres the proof

AMEX partnership scam -
http://about.americanexpress.com/news/pr/2017/blockchain-enabled-cross-border-b-to-b-payments.aspx

AMEX is a small company known to create bubbles, like the american express credit card which is a scam, they basically send you a plastic card and tell you you can swipe it in places and its like money? how can it be money? its a plastic card! lol scammers!

Bubble proof no 2. -
https://www.fool.com/investing/2017/12/17/5-big-banks-currently-testing-ripples-blockchain-t.aspx

5 banks announced theyre testing ripple technolgys
the banks are :
Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC)
Swiss-based UBS
Spain's Banco Santander
And Italy's Unicredit

Clearly, these banks are placed in made up places...

Im still looking for bubble proof no.3... will get back to you soon.

Anyways,
@honestIM $10 sounds unrealistic at least until 2019. $5 maybe by the end of 2018... but who knows?

I know what you mean. Especially with the market cap. But remember IOTA? Strange things can happen with Crypto. However I am going for this only because of the trust with my source and nothing much to do with fundamentals at this stage.

$10 will put xrp at approx 500 billion marketcap(2x of btc). I doubt anything above $2 is possible in foreseeable future.

Sure, Micks.

Fuck XRP. It, much like most altcoins, is backed by greed and self-interest at the expense of the ill-informed. It, much like most altcoins, is hyped by the very same ill-informed.

LMAO you sir have strong anti crypto behaviour :D:D

wow, atlast someone wrote about ripple in a detailed manner ,i was trying to explain people about % coins released to public is too low and company can decide and dump them anytime ,people still don't understand it ,coins like ripple kills the concept of decentralisation and p2p involvement,Due to decentralisation and mining people started moving to cryptocurrency as banks/paypal for example stealing our large % money and screw us anytime ,now again banks are coming in pseudo cryptocurrency mask trying to pull us back to old system, very sad part is lot of people in forum still defending that ripple is minable very sad for them at least they could open their website and read

There are market maker on this counter currently. And the target price is $10, there is no prediction involved but unregulated market manipulation. Meaning there are whales playing up the counter pending release of positive news.
