For a research I am currently doing, I wanted to know what is the most common things people download online.

I found that there's adult content, music, wallpapers, dll files and movie subtitles, that's the only one I found when it comes to volume. Do you know any other thing I may have forgotten?

& mobile apps

Just go to any torrent site and take a look at the categories, that will give you a pretty good idea, what's in demand.

Honestly video is pretty heavy up there with what we download. That's broad if you think about Hulu, netflix, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Worldstar and more.
