Post quality requiments to Jr.VIP upgrade

Today I seen user @Cesarios upgraded to Jr.Vip.

I don't want to step into the thing of his embarassing reskinned bots which @Asif WILSON Khan already mentioned here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/rules-for-bot-makers.995381/

but just mention the fact 95% of his posts are bumps / thin value

but If I remember well, in the "old" Jr.Vip application form there was a phrase like :

"..If you have been a member of the forum for at least 60 days, and have made at least 100 quality posts.."

Now, I see this not seems to be a requiment anymore:

I think this standard should be re-inserted for a better quality standard of Jr. Vip subsection.

I deleted my last post as I responded without fully understanding the issue you presented.

All right, so I noticed that his account is less than a year old and DD's thread states that "After the first year the user, providing they have the 100 posts required, may move to a Jr. VIP subscription." I'm unsure of whether or not this was done away with at some point or if it means that a marketplace seller can relinquish their marketplace seller membership for a regular Jr. VIP membership, but it would be great if an admin can chip in on this one.

New to BlackHatWorld the - BHW Marketplace Seller account - allows new members that don't qualify for Jr. VIP to submit a listing on the BHW marketplace subject to the standard marketplace terms and moderator approval. Click here to learn more about the marketplace.

A marketplace seller account allows a non Jr. VIP member to start a thread in the marketplace without running the risk of losing their account using other methods (spam post count inflation, account devaluation by adding junk content, account purchasing etc - all of which can result in a permanent ban and loss of marketplace threads). We've provided this option at the request of members who want to be engaged in the marketplace but post count and time on site is the only issue to get there.

The price is higher than a regular Jr. VIP as we have to review the Marketplace threads to a much deeper level without the benefit of a Jr. VIP history. After the first year the user, providing they have the 100 posts required, may move to a Jr. VIP subscription.

Regarding @Cesarios posts specifically, technically as long as he abides by the marketplace rules, there's not a "problem". The "quality posts" part of that stipulation is subjective, although I've always interpreted it as "100 posts that don't need to be removed" (i.e., not spam). However, I get what you're saying about him getting to 100 posts with his marketplace bumping posts and purchasing a Jr. VIP membership right after. The only feasible way I can see us bumping up the post count standard would be to not count posts in certain subforums like the marketplace, but that decision isn't up to me and I can't really see it happening.

Any member is able to sell through the Marketplace seller program. BUT they still have to comply with the marketplace approval process per the listing under Account Upgrades . The Jr. VIP can be purchased in the standard way once a member has the required 60 days and 100 posts. ALL memberships expire after 1 year unless the member renews. All posts are subject to review not just the first 100, quality is based on where you stand - one mans quality is anothers low level content, the word "Quality" is too subjective - that's what we have the report button for. IF a member is called into disrepute / want's to progress up the BHW status tree ALL their posts will be reviewed.

The definition of "Quality post" is subjective in my opinion. Also if someone is following the "existing" rules it should not be an issue in my opinion.

Honestly, the quality post thing does not matter to me, either way. Especially in this situation.

Regardless of whether @Cesarios is reselling scripts or not (Side-note: There are many, many sellers on BHW re-selling. I don't see any issue with it if they are offering their own support or paying someone else to do so) he was already a MarketPlace seller before he became Jr.Vip. Surely the whole reasoning behind having Jr.Vip limitations is to prevent someone from signing up & selling right away. This user was already allowed to sell (Rightly so, after paying $500) and their upgrade to Jr.Vip didn't offer many more benefits.

At the end of the day, there's nothing you can do about it that would work. Having any sort of subjective term like "quality" would only create massive issues when applicants feel that they have been unjustly denied the upgrade, require a lot of staff work to review each case and, at the end of the day, solve nothing. Anyone who wants to sell on BHW as fast as possible can easily buy Marketplace seller, as done here, or go ahead and post 100 "truly helpful" posts. It's not hard. Even the newest of members could engage in some sort of conversation 100x's within two months.
