Hi everyone,

I purchased a domain a little while after losing it at auction for 17 Dollars, and the buyer put it up for sale at 1000usd days later. So I purchased it for 550usd.
It is a short generic sports related .com domain with a dash inbetween the words and about 5 years of domain ageing.

Never been used for a spam site or any site for that matter.
I am not sure I will get around to using it for years now so was considering selling it but wanted to know if I was jumping the gun and should wait some years to sell it for more.
What's everyones views?

Can i just clarify.

You lost out to a $17 bid at a domain auction.

Winner then sold it to you for $550.

You had no specific purpose for the website but bought it.

Now you dont want it?

Never been used for any site ? "Never been used for a spam site or any site for that matter."

It's only 5 years old, so how on Earth did it get to be valued at $1k or even $550 ?

You fucked it up really bad, now you won't be able to get even $20 from it.

Man, the name is dashed. What's the purpose of buying it, and why you buy it? Just because you like its name?

OP wait next summer to sell that shit.

Cheers for the feedback guys. I did have an intention for the site, closely linked to the domain name as an affiliate site but was thinking of selling. Will probably keep it and do the site I intended on.
